05/09/22 Build week

Followed like the rest and chatted with them. Was told I wasn't even scheduled anymore. Called my salesman and he looked it up, 5/12 build day too. Guess the Ford chat employee was already in weekend mode. I'm also one of the lucky ones to get a vin/build early compared to others so would have been fair if so.

I think it’s finally happening.

Ford chat said I have a build day of 5/12.

Ford could pull a fast one and ruin my weekend though, so keep expectations tempered.

My production date was 5/9/22 chatted and they told me 5/13/22. Hoping that happens.

I’ve been lurking on different build weeks as I continually get pushed back. First I was in February then a few weeks in April then May 2 now May 9. Happy to say I didn’t get my typical Thursday email so I’m trying to be optimistic. I tried to use the chat feature to see if I could get a build day like many of you have and just get a pop up saying try again later.

Not sure when you attempted to chat, but I’ve had best results during Monday-Friday 9-5 EST business hours. I know it says it’s “available” Saturday and Sunday and later in the evening during the week, but I too experienced the “try again later” when attempting outside those hours.

I got through on the chat and my production day is the 12th. After so long I’m not sure if I should be excited or not. Does anyone know how much more your chances increase of your truck actually being built on your build week when you get a production day?

yip. Let us know if you do. I know of a few guys from the 5/2 and 5/9 build weeks who have still not received there WS. I guess they were bumped but didn’t post it here.

It seemed like the 5/2 build week didn't see a plethora of window stickers until Wednesday morning, hoping it's the same for us.

Got a call from my salesman just now, my build date is now 05/11. Not sure why it changed a day but he told me to stay away from those Ford chats. ?

These recent posts got me to get on the online chat just now..... They just told me my truck was sent to the plant today for production and to be built today. I tried to get a date and they said "yes today". Doesn't make sense.... 5/9 build week and I do not have a window sticker.

Now I'm puzzled LOL
