Nice looking truck! Check in from time to time and let us know how it is performing. I was looking at a Laramie locally with Hemi and eTorque and was sorely tempted. It had many of the features of the 502 Lariat I have on order with the big exception being the PowerBoost and 7.2 KW ProPower generator capability for my camper. My wife wasn't on board with the Ram, though; I did too good a job selling her on the PowerBoost last fall when I ordered.
Absolutely! Will do. The ProPower was the only thing holding me back, but in my case my wife actually prefers the Ram to the Ford. The Hemi has smoother acceleration and the suspension is a little softer, despite having same towing and payload capacity.
With the etorque I feel it is quicker off the line when the auto stop / start kicks in with no observable hesitation.

12,000 lbs on towing (3.92 axle) and 1,460 payload….almost identical to an equivalent Lariat.

They are all excellent trucks (F-150, Ram 1500, Chevy 1500). The two things I learned through the process which maybe I’ll start a thread on, or possibly set up a website around, are payload and towing capacity. Ford obscures the info, Ram posts it clearly….but you still have to know where to look. I almost bought a Ram with the 3.21 axle and would have had a whopping 7,500 lbs of towing capacity. Once I realized the 3.92 was required for anything over 8,500 it made it easy.

Payload… you all are up to speed on that one.

Enjoy your rigs!!

After reading all the horror stories about vehicles ready to ship sitting at the rail yard for weeks or months, this happened way sooner than I anticipated:

May 24....which is the shown "Built" date in the tracker...

Out of curiosity, I downloaded the current "As Built" file into Excel and ran a comparison between today's file and a March 23rd file that I downloaded back then. Of the 1000 lines of data, only ten lines/modules have changed since the March file. No idea what the changed modules are, but it does say that the truck has been updated since then.

Most likely 754. Can you check and see if that was the difference? I have a 502A Powerboost with Blue cruise as well. Have been in production since 1/20/22. Expected to come off hold on July 21. Delayed from May 5th.

I wish I had 754, would at least show me some movement. Sucks to not see any “activation button”

I've had 754 loaded since I originally was able to look at the "As Built" file back in January. From the As Built file, There are 58 lines of data in module 754, data in one of those lines changed. In addition, data changed in modules 716, 720, 726 and 7D0.

My truck has landed at the Norfolk Southern Railyard in Wentzville, MO, just 1 hour from my dealer!! Can someone refresh my memory on how to track it from there?

Yeah the enthusiasm is pretty much drained for me and there hasn't been any updates from Ford. But I did hear that possibly my truck has been loaded on the truck for shipping tomorrow but I am not going to get my hopes up.

Great news my truck was delivered today and I will be picking it up Monday. I did go see it and to get some of the paperwork done the dealer will be doing pre delivery inspections tomorrow and I will pick it up on Monday. on a interesting note as I mentioned a few posts ago the dealer demo lightning was also delivered at the same time as my truck. pictures will be coming on Monday once I actually have the vehicle.

I did do a very quick glance (and i mean very quick from the back) and didnt really see any rust at least not like some others i have seen. I was very surprised but I will give it a much better inspection when i go to pick it up.
