Well finally got the built email from Ford and hopefully it will ship and be delivered this week. I am getting excited I have a tonneau on order, got a quote for spray in bedliner and a quote for ceramic coating. i am still debating on getting a undercoating of some sort.

Best of luck on a speedy shipping process. I received the Built email 4/24 and there have been no further “official” updates from Ford since and it is evidently still ‘awaiting shipment’. The Dealer says check with Ford. Ford says check with the dealer.

So crazy and for a Limited no less. Let us know how everything turns out. Hoping for the best!

That's crazy you have been waiting almost a month since your built email and its still awaiting shipping. I hope your truck gets shipped soon.

I am hoping shipping wont take too long Detroit is only a few hours south from where I am at. Getting the truck this week is what I would like but the Ford email said estimated delivery around the 29th. Plus the tonneau has not shipped yet so I been waiting this long what's a little longer? On as side note the dealership lightning demo is built and they keep saying both trucks will probably be delivered at the same time. That could be interesting getting to test drive a lighting and my powerboost.

Congratulations! I’m a fellow Limited buyer and have been watching other threads. Ford’s delivery process makes no sense.

I ordered 3 weeks before you, blended 2 weeks before you, and have been “in production” ever since.

The only thing I can see different is that I ordered a spray in bed liner and tonneau cover from Ford.

Looking forward to seeing your pics!

Hope the shipping is fast. My Platinum was released for shipping on 3/18 (11/19 order date). It did not ship until a last Wednesday, and is till on a train between Michigan and New Orleans.

When I ordered my dealer said trucks that were ordered with factory spray in bed liner where getting delayed so I didn't order one. also at the time I didn't know if I wanted a spray in or a dualliner.

Pictures as promised. My original KR was now moved to August. The dealer told me they’re waiting on Powerboost batteries, but I don’t know how true that is. Luckily I found the black one that arrived early with a April blend date.

Great looking truck! Looking forward to an update after you put some miles on it.

I’m heading to drive some Ram and Chevy options later this week. I’m not sure I even want my Lariat order after all this….Ford has received a vote of no confidence with the latest ‘shipping’ delays and after a 6 month wait. None of it makes sense when April builds are getting delivered to dealers.

Ford Chat says my truck is on a train near St. Louis, which I assume is where it will get off the train since my dealer is about 45 minutes outside of SL. Hopefully it will get a relatively quick pick up on a car hauler and get to my dealership next week!! Fingers crossed. No update on the tracker or via email.

Mine still shows as being on hold but it did finally populate a boatload of 754 module entries and went live in Ford Pass. I know it doesn't mean much but hey, after no movement for 4 months, it's something.

Well, guys…it’s been “fun”. After 6 months of chaos, lack of communication from Ford and constantly missing any ETAs provided I have moved on. I lucked out and picked up a Ram 1500 Laramie with Hemi v8 etorque yesterday that arrived at the dealer earlier in the day. Honestly, I think I saved myself from making a bad decision — I really couldn’t be happier. I will miss the Powerboost for the travel trailer but I think I may be able to hack the etorque to perform a similar function. I may still take delivery of the F150 since the price has gone up so much since my order, and sort out something to do with it, but not complaining about the $6k in rebates and 0% for 60 mo. I got on the Ram.

Going into the process, I thought I may buy several Ford vehicles this year, but now…I may never buy one again.

Not trying to ruin it for you all, and truly wish you the best of luck, speedy deliveries and limited time spent in the service department waiting areas.

Sorry to see you go, but all that matters at the end of the day is that you are pleased with the decision. Truck looks nice, but I have to admit I don’t know anything about the etorque engine so I'll have to check it out. Like a nice Harley, the Hemi doesn't make noise - it makes a sound! All the best!

Nice looking truck! Check in from time to time and let us know how it is performing. I was looking at a Laramie locally with Hemi and eTorque and was sorely tempted. It had many of the features of the 502 Lariat I have on order with the big exception being the PowerBoost and 7.2 KW ProPower generator capability for my camper. My wife wasn't on board with the Ram, though; I did too good a job selling her on the PowerBoost last fall when I ordered.
