It still shows in production which isn't surprising based on what others are saying in other build week threads. It does have an Estimated Delivery Date but no "Built" date on the timeline graphic.

@RalpL, my estimated delivery date is now 2/17/22.

I was thinking about pulling a space white and finding something on the lot but there are no power boosts in the Houston area showing up on the Ford site.

I thought this might be a powerboost issue but it looks like we have 2 v8s and 2 eco boosts pushed back also. I understand that the Rona has disrupted a lot of things but seems like a company as big as Ford should be able to manage their supply chain somewhat better than this.

This is from my salesman today via text. I hope he is correct about ford clearing it up quickly. Figured I would post this just so we can see the different opinions of our individual dealers.

“Right now yours is showing that it is held for a chip. I think May is Ford giving you a worst case scenario, the last time we saw this happen with ordered units Ford did get it cleared up pretty quickly. Just keep your eye out for updates”

BTW. Thank you ralphL for the putting in the work on the spreadsheet.

Not a problem - thanks for sharing your dealer's thoughts. I think many of us agree Ford is worst-casing the situation. Goes back to my earlier comments about managing customer expectations - tell us a three-month delay, then delivery it in one or two months and we'll all be happy it wasn't actually three!

Got an update today off of the ford tracking site After last weeks update of being shipped. Originally due at dealership 3/7/22
Just updated to 6/5/22…. Called Ford and they said it is on hold. Sooo even after the tracking site listed it on its way to dealer and the palsapp showed it being picked it is not.
….it will be over 7 months from order to delivery. Definitely not acceptable. Likely now to just go find something on a dealer lot… Chevy or dodge

I was wondering what your latest status was since you had showed it was shipped. Very disappointing to hear. I'll update the spreadsheet above in Post #555. Did they say if it was specifically a chip hold?

I have to admit after owning four Chevy trucks to include my Silverado LTZ 2500HD Duramax I sold in July, I'm on the desktop looking at the GMC website checking out the Sierra 1500 Denali with the baby Duramax. Wish they offered SuperCruise like Ford's BlueCruise, but I do like the head-up display that Ford doesn't offer for some reason. Even without ADMs however, the prices are nowhere near as good as the below-invoice pricing Chapman, Koons, and Granger offer.

Well, considering some of us are approaching 5 months without a VIN, i think 7 months is totally acceptable form that point of view. And in really, if you don't accept it someone will snatch it off the dealers lot.

all in all, id rather be in production on a chip hold than sitting without a VIN right now, not knowing if the truck will schedule in 2022. Put everything into perspective.

I'm sure you can add me to the Limited list here shortly. I had a blend date of 2/1, but it still says TBD on delivery. Clearly it sure seems like it's gonna be delayed.. I'll let ya know.

That would make you Build Week 1/31, but I don't think they're maintaining a spreadsheet. If not, I'll add you to ours.

Thanks for the follow up…. I asked Ford specifically reason for hold but they had no information. Went to dealer and they said the same thing, on Hold( no specifics)on the vehicle report. I also drove a Silverado LTZ Z71.. but a 1500…sold it before thanksgiving.
so been without a ride since then.

Yeah they’re not maintaining any spreadsheet over there. I too am in 1/31, any way you could add me as well. I enjoy keeping track of this whole process…. Even as excruciating as it can be lol.

No one is doing it in 1/31 cause we are all busy. If you want to volunteer for our group, I'll second that motion.
