Checked tracker today and no changes still in production and eta 5/14/22. Dealer also said no updates. However when I opened ford pass the activate button is there, which is new for today. Anyone have any opinions if this has any significance?

Good lookin truck. I’ve got almost the same thing coming, just 18” wheels and 2wd instead of 4wd.

The more I keep seeing that color the more I’m liking it. Would’ve been my second choice to carbonized grey. Sick truck.
I haven’t seen that activate button yet.
Thank you, Yeah I have always been a fan of the maroon/ tinted red colors.. they look great with black. I wish I could have gotten the projector headlights in the 501a package (I think they look really sharp and tie it together) but just couldn’t justify going up to the 502 package for that reason. Oh also have the matte black tailgate lettering, matte black low profile window visers and Mickey Thompson Baja boss a/ts on the way. Hoping it all comes together nice. Carbonized gray is a nice color also. I’m really hoping the activate button might mean something but who knows lol.

Stole my words exactly. Would’ve only went to 502 trim just for lights as well but price wouldn’t have been justified. The regular lights are growing on me though the more I see it online.

Just picked up my rapid red Lariat today. The color really pops in the sun, although I don't have an outdoor photo yet.

I did pick up my truck today (2/14) at Granger in Iowa. Unfortunately, things did not go well when I got on the road to head to DFW, TX. I'll start a separate thread and link it from here later.

I see all the problem posts here and in other forums and I try to convince myself that these are just the small minority of trucks because only problems wind up in the forums, not the happy camper owners. Now we are a small sample of truck owners, twenty or so, innocently just waiting to get nice new trucks and one of our first group members who get one ends up like this. Statistically it's only one failure so it is wrong to draw any conclusions but if the failure rate is small, I was hoping our small group would be all happy camper owners. I'm kind of scared to see how many end up with problems after reading Kidder's experience.

It pops pretty good in the garage, too!

I agree. I'm confident that these issues will get resolved.

FYI, absolutely nothing exciting happened with the status of my truck today. Just thought everyone should know.
Me either! I had high hopes when the tracker was down yesterday.

Same here. I was nearly certain that my tracker would update with an ETA of 2/21, that my dealer would call me and tell me my truck was en route, that my wife would surprise me with a home-cooked meal, and that my children were spending the night with my in-laws. None of those things happened…

I’m also totally getting the Baja Boss A/Ts (295/60r20) but am holding out for the ‘21/‘22 Fox 2.0 kit to come out

What size you thinking? Level? Stock rims?

Cheers

Ford released a video to dealers today and stated that vehicle visibility will not be updated until next week. My guess is the reduced shifts combined with the chip shortage is causing what we are seeing now. The video also said that Ford has quite a bit of VOW’s(vehicle on wheels a.k.a. Vehicles that have been built waiting on chips). Their goal is to get the VOW’s shipped out to dealers by the end of March/early April. They stated in the video that sold retail orders will be first to get chips and the less chips the vehicle needs the quicker it will be shipped. So hopefully we should get updates next week it looks like.
This is from the 1/31/22 thread.
