My truck had a blend date of 1/06, got a built and ready to ship from Ford on 1/27 and crickets since then. It's still in Dearborn, not on a chip hold, finished, but somehow they can't ship it out.

They've probably piled a bunch of unfinished vehicles in front of it, and it is sitting buried in snow in the back of a lot rusting its differential.
What’s dealer and ford marketing saying?

The truck I ordered is now showing on my dealership's website so it may be close to arrival or there already. Of course, in true dealership fashion the description of the truck isn't accurate. The VIN matches so I know it's the right one.

The dealer is saying it's still in DRB and hasn't shipped yet. They don't have any control on this.

Ford Marketing doesn't say anything except that they've opened a case and the New Vehicle Service Team will reach out to me (almost 2 weeks and they haven't), and Ford Customer Service is saying the expected delivery week is Feb 22-27. When I asked them how it could possibly be delivered by the 27th when it hasn't even left DRB yet, they didn't have an answer. They could only tell me what the "system says".

Fellas, we have gotten very quiet with all the disappointments. With how this ordering system has been, would you all be likely to order another one ever or settle for something on the lot?
My plan wouldn’t change…there are no trucks up here…when they get a few they aren’t specked for me and marked way up. I’m luckily in no hurry. That said, I don’t want a rusty truck and it’d be nice to lock financing and get the best available incentives locked in during the process. Would rather have had a build/blend date May 1 and delivery May 10….than built and rotting in a lot.

2inch level + husky wheel well liners. Just need to put on husky mud flaps. Next step new tires and probably taking off the sport decal, thoughts?

Is it just me or does it seem like every build week around us is getting populated with information or activate buttons on ford pass? I feel like we got the extra shaft

I had my fordpass activate button 2 months ago, I'm afraid it means absolutely nothing.
I’d take that over no word at all from Ford since last November

Question for the group...

The manual says break-in is the first 1,000 miles so no hard acceleration or braking, no towing aggressive shifting or very high speeds. Basically, take it easy on the truck and drive like your grandma. However, the computer has to learn how you drive during this same timeframe and the manual says the truck may also exhibit some unusual characteristics during this time. So, the truck is learning how you drive it gently vs how you actually plan to drive it after break-in. My point is that what the truck learns the first 1,000 miles is not how you'll be driving the truck every day thereafter. To me it's counterintuitive. The computer should be designed to learn how you drive from mile 1,000 to 2,000 when you're driving normally. Thoughts???

does the computer adjust after you start driving in real life? I would think so.

@Rodzm Congrats on your truck. I have mine ordered through Irvine Tuttle-Click. Which shipping service did yours come through to your dealer? Could you track it through palsapp or another service? Any tips would help. I am going to go in and have them check on the vehicle visibility report and see if my chip hold is over or whats going on.

Yes I was able to track it through palsapp which showed the delivery for Kansas City to the rail yard. Then I got the vehicle visibility report which showed the rail car number which allowed me to track the rail car through the automated phone system. Then I was able to track from the Delaware lot to Chapman.

Other than the standard 7 day update to my window sticker, no progress at all. Anyone else?

I'm in Canada so can't even check.
I'm at the point where I'm just gonna wait for the dealer to call me and say they have my truck.
