Yeah I’ve heard those things too. Pretty bad we are all paying 60-70k for a freaking truck that’s on hold, nobody knows anything and is sitting there rusting away. This whole process has been a joke. At this point the only worse thing that could happen is they damage the truck in shipping & have to order another one. That’s my luck, so just wait fellas lol

Ha don’t laugh. That happened to me this past November. I ordered my tremor the first of July and showed up damage. I had to deny it. Now I’m waiting again. It is beyond frustrating.

Is this when you look around and settle for a ford ecosport or ranger?

My truck accessories have been sitting in my garage for over 6 months now; come March first I’ll have been waiting 8 months. Sure wish something would happen soon. An activate button on my Ford Pass app. would be progress. I check it multiple times each day but it’s the same ole thing,… notta.

Fellas, we have gotten very quiet with all the disappointments. With how this ordering system has been, would you all be likely to order another one ever or settle for something on the lot?

Eventually Ford and other manufacturers will catch up. A combination of a chip shortage and getting more orders than they anticipated have compounded the issue. Myself, my life isn't being disrupted awaiting longer than anticipated. I've a good vehicle now that'll carry me until my new truck arrives (whenever that may be). With all the stories of ridiculous dealer ADM and it unlikely I'd be able to use X-Plan for a lot purchase, I'd probably go through the order process again. But, at my old age, the one I'm waiting on will be (wife's words) my "forever truck".

Gonna stand fast and hope that “one hour” to install the chip happens soon. Regardless if my date stays as may all I have is time.

The only concern I have is hoping delivery occurs before my $2,000 PCO expires on 4/4/2022

Your dealer should honor this. Talk to them about it. A good dealer/sales person will recognize it is the right thing to do. If they don't, make them realize that this will be the last business you and your friends/family do with that dealer.

My dealer just took delivery of an F150 SCrew Lariat but with the 2.7EB. It was a custom order with blend of 1/30!! WTF I think all our build week is getting the shaft. They also took delivery of a couple of Broncos with blend dates of 2/03.

..?What I feared..disorganization. It’s like serving fresh meat from the front letting the meat in the back go bad. No order

There must be some feature in these builds that is putting us behind. I just wish there was some sort of communication from @Ford Motor Company telling us what vehicles are being affected the most. A list of builds or features that is causing the delay. This would show that they have a handle on the situation and are aware of the issue. RIght now it just feels like luck of the draw.

On my FordPass app, I had tapped activate weeks ago and got a notice like 10 min ago that it was denied by the primary user and now shows activate again. I found this odd

My truck had a blend date of 1/06, got a built and ready to ship from Ford on 1/27 and crickets since then. It's still in Dearborn, not on a chip hold, finished, but somehow they can't ship it out.

They've probably piled a bunch of unfinished vehicles in front of it, and it is sitting buried in snow in the back of a lot rusting its differential.

Check the VIn to see which plant. Kansas City has been shipping vehicles
