Well, my eta of 24-30 April has come and gone. I have the activation option in FordPass but it shows as a lighting and it’s still “in production” on the tracker. This is brutal.

My eta is May 7th. OrderTrack and ford tracking show in production, but today the activate button showed up. I hope that means that the manufacturer has finished it and its getting ready to ship, according to what people post on the forum, it takes around a week for the information to update on the tracker.

I‘m sure this is frustrating. My truck used to show a Lightning until I uninstalled the app and reinstalled on my phone. Now it shows up correctly.

Well got some good news … ford customer service says eta for delivery is May 21 … and order track finally updated to awaiting shipment … ford tracker still says in production

The tracker now shows Shipped status for my truck but doesn't show a shipped date. I guess you can move me up above the first line

754 is the Telematic Control Unit Module (TCU). It's basically a modem that gets OTA updates, how FordPass connects to your vehicle as well as the hotspot some folks use. It is located on the passenger side/middle of the truck behind the back seats attached to the rear cab wall.

My truck doesn’t have 754 but FordPass has been active since January. Ford Pass activation was also cancelled twice from inside the truck.

If 754 is the modem then I don’t know how this would happen?

From another thread, activation requests automatically time out if they are not accepted in the vehicle and cancel/reject the activation request. It happened on mine a month or so ago.

That brings me a little hope. I keep checking the Motorcraft site looking for 754. Maybe it’s not needed. How is your truck equipped? Do you have blue cruise?
