Found another article on the automotive semiconductor shortage. One interesting quote I'm still trying to rationalize " ... the Blue Oval missed out on an estimated 1.25 million units last year."

Has anybody here had their truck built yet or delivered !? If so when was your order date. Just trying to get an idea on how long I’ll be waiting. I’m waiting on a 22 f150 lariat sport/ 5.0/ 502a/ pano roof/ power tailgate/ work surface
Ordered 12/9 and had a build week 2/21 but got bumped to 2/28 .. so we’ll see .. just trying to get some info from you guys

Were probably the worst build week group to ask. The 01/31 build week folks are already getting their trucks or seeing progress. Most of us here are in limbo.

Well for the first time since i have been tracking the window sticker. IT didnt update on the 7th day like prior weeks. What does that mean? Probably nothing! We shall see. Instead it updated on the 8th day.

Called Ford Canada this morning because my dealer has been missing in action, the new ETA is April 23rd. The customer service representative explained that my truck was on a chip hold until Feb. 18th at which point they did receive the chips to complete the build. That would be a 29 weeks wait for the truck! That is probably why the dealer is so quiet. I do not understand why it is taking 2 months to put the chips and deliver.

Dealer got back to me this morning. Hopefully the chips come in and get installed sooner rather than later. If only I would have kept my Jan 7 build day!! haha

That's how I am reading it too. However, the dates line up with Martin's post above and apparently his is not on chip hold anymore. I'd be curious to see Martin's visibility report. @MartinKubota, perhaps you could ask your sales rep for a copy!

I'm trying to remain positive, but I still struggle with the idea that my 70k new truck is sitting in a parking lot covered in snow while Ford tries to figure this out. I understand the challenges the supply chain present, I just wish they just would have bumped my build date out until they were confident they could actually build the truck.

As interest rates increase, the value of my 2015 trade in decreases, and my 2022 sits in a parking lot rusting in the elements the idea of actually purchasing my ordered truck looks less and less appealing.

Guess we will see what everything looks like when they actually ship the truck, but if it really goes another 2 months that will have been 6 months since my order, just insane.

I feel your pain man. I originally ordered a 2021 in August so it’ll have been quite the wait. Luckily my trade in value is locked it but I can’t wait to get the truck. I’m not too worried about the snow and all, but it’s definitely very frustrating.

You shouldn’t be less upset because others have had worse experiences. In my opinion, anything beyond 3 months is BS lol. But i like to optimism, maybe next week is our week!

Yeah it’s bs I totally agree.I did complain on here and know where you guys are coming from.I did get mine and when I picked it up my dealer told me that he dosent have anymore f150’s coming in until at least April because of the chip shortage.So it is hitting these dealers as well.I have my fingers crossed for everyone on the 1/10 build week to get their trucks shortly because it is worth the wait.

I'm sure I won't see the truck until the seasons change ... again. But I just got a lift on this gray, cold winter day because my ACTIVATE button showed up in the FordPass App a few minutes ago!!
