FORD - Freaking Obnoxious Retail Delivery. These screenshots are from before, I just heard from the dealer that the date was moved again to April 5th now. Every time we get close to the ship date, Ford bumps it up. The modules are complete and activation has been showing in Ford Pass since January. Even the dates in the VVR are just bullshit and made up it seems and have no bearing on reality.

I hate dealing with Ford and I haven't even bought my first vehicle from them yet.

Yup mine has been sitting built for over two months now. No idea what they’re doing.

I got the same email on April 20, except mine went from April 17 - April 23 to May 1 - May 7.

My dealer told me he thought the delay might be due to some recall (he said there have been quite a few). Says they won't ship a vehicle with an active recall. Interesting we got the email on the same day, even though we were sitting on different windows. It looks like we may have a similar build. I wonder if there is some sort of recall affecting delivery. I sure wish Ford would simply communicate - and tell the truth.

I heard that recalls are done by the dealer. So they’ll ship it to the dealer and the dealer has to perform the recall before they let us take delivery.

Better communication sure would have been nice. I am going to need to rent a car in May for a few days for $800 that had I known this truck would be delayed so much I’d have been able to plan for.

It is just piss poor visibility and communication and it has soured me on F150 ownership before I even got my first Ford.

Dunno, I’ve seen a bunch of people get their trucks delivered with 1-2 almost everyday from Granger. It’s slow sure but this thing hasn’t moved in about 100 days.
