01/03/22 Build Week

Talked to my sales guy, he said the push was due to shortages of the 12in touch screens. Who knows if that is true or not, but that is the reason he gave for the push.

Does make sense as this appears to be pushing a ton of truck builds.

Most of the trucks on the 1/3 build have 12" screens....so, I'm not sure.

Today's update. A bit of a sadder one as we say goodbye to @Jeff1024, @BigEd290, @f150lifer75, and @klvanzu (about 27% of our list) as they all move to week 01/10 Hopefully you all don't get pushed out any further!

I've started rearranging the list based on build date. I'll also start rearranging based on shipped, delivery, and picked-up statuses.

Delivery ETA might be tough without tracker access. We'll see if that column sticks around.

Any additional updates, let me know and they'll be in tomorrow's post.

Stopped by the dealership today because I had a feeling that my build got pushed and indeed it did. But on the bright side, it is scheduled to the day of the 15th.

Do you know if you had a build date (to the day) before you got moved? I'm curious because we're both in Ontario and got essentially the same truck. I'm not fully convinced I'm still locked in to 01/03.

I don't know if I had a build date, I was only aware of the week. To be honest my dealership and sales rep do an absolute awful job and responding to any texts/emails I send. I decided to just show up on Thursday to request an update. Ugh, I wish there was a better way to track out orders lol

It kinda amazes me how bad order tracking and status is with ford. I get building a vehicle is complex. But Amazon can ship like 4 billion packages a year and mostly always have accurate status and shipping info.

Looks like I might be next to get bumped If proximity on the list is an indication.

My dealer is the only source of info as I have never received an email from Ford. Dealer closed from 12-22 to 12-27 for Christmas so I may get the news tomorrow if I call my salesman.

I’m gonna choose to live in ignorant bliss until about Jan 5 then check for the modules and follow up with dealer for delivery ETA. I won’t get email updates being in Canada so I’m just going to pretend/assume I’m still scheduled for the 3rd

Pretty wild how quickly this thread is emptying though. I’ll update the table tonight.
