Not the OP but also have a 5.0, should my oil level be full? When I change it, I put in 7 quarts and that gets me right in between the hash marks. Obviously you don’t want it low, but do I need it all the way up to the Full mark?
been wondering this as well as my old F150 (2010) called for 75w140 but these new 9.75s call for the slide of 75w85. Is there a reason for this? I do understand how those weights work, based on the temperature the oil may never even reach that 140 weight. Just wondering either way. I have the...
I use both ACC and Lane Centering constantly. Here in Texas most of our roads are built to interstate standards and generally have consistent markings, so those features are quite reliable. I drive over 100miles a day for work and 99% of it with adaptive cruise enabled and my longest commute...
Similar to one of the first responses, I have a matching 5th wheel spare for all of my vehicles. Makes it easy when you get a nail/flat and makes tire rotations easy because you can just always have one going in and then out of rotation.
To the OP, I would just get two floor jacks. They’re...
I have a 2024 with the 9.75" rear end but not the max tow. All the ford sites even with my vin show BRF2033 and BRF2032 as the pads for my truck. I called one dealer and they told me that BRF2032 was the correct pads, and then I called another who said it was 2033. Both had my VIN. I called 3...
flashlight, pens/markers, hand sanitizer, wipes, gloves, common insulated screwdriver and Klein 7in1, test strips, supposed to be a bottle of silicone lube but my employee lost it, all sizes of Yeti can coolers, a few other items in rotation. I have a smaller version of this product but am...
on mine I got a second tray from Amazon with a hole for cables to pass through, mainly for my apple watch charger. I also like that with both trays (or a full tray) passengers or parking attendants can’t see my handgun.
that’s what I really would like and would be interested in the short stroke engine option for F250 for that reason. Good option for SHTF scenario. I miss that from my old 2010 with the 5.4. The other thing that’s nice about it is I occasionally had emissions/O2 codes and running a tank of E85...
That’s a good deal. My dealer is close to $9 or $10 a quart. I can’t find the full synthetic anywhere local here except the dealers.
Do you have any issues with shipping it/damage? Part of the reason I’ve avoided a 12pack on Amazon. Also because the price is about the same as the dealer.
Just wanted to say $140 is a good deal for full synthetic + rotation and multipoint if that’s really what you’re getting. At my dealer, FoMoCo full synthetic and a filter is damn near $100. And I still have to go home and change it myself and dispose of the old oil responsibly.
I checked the Apple App Store and 5.20.0 was released 1 week ago. No 5.21.0.
I just got that security update a day or two ago, and this morning the phantom “hardware disabled” notifications in Ford Pass are back. They had been gone for a month or so after getting them about every time the...
I have a 2024 and don’t remember seeing this update yet. Nice to know I should get it eventually with the 2023s in this thread saying they’ve got it. I had some Forscan work planned this holiday weekend, so I’ll check and see if I got it and just missed it.
Okay. I will take a look this week
Haven’t had a chance to pull the light off yet. Is there any tricks I need to be aware of, and are these as finicky in terms of sealing to the cab as the 12th gen was? About high tight do you do the screws? Any issues with leaks? Considering checking them...
