Just had my first run in with this. Out of town with small town gas stations towing a boat. I put non-ethanol gas in for one tank then just standard 76 premium in the next I’ll report back if I can help anyone but won’t be back for a week so fingers crossed it goes away!

12.7 mpg with a 21’ coachmen clipper trailer. I don’t do anything special, just put the truck in tow mode and drive the truck. In my opinion the ”hybrid” part of this truck was meant for get up and go power not fuel efficiency

I know each A/C unit is different but there is a re-learn section on the soft start that may be worth trying after a software update

BIG UPDATE: I got the 3.5 Ton Trane AC to run on the PowerBoost!! Huge shoutout to Micro-Air EasyStart which is what made this happen and took 15 minutes to hookup (to note, EasyStartHome did not work and they blamed the truck) Photos taken are with only the A/C running, all other breakers off...

For what it’s worth I have a ‘24 PowerBoost and this is what the filter looked like at 8K miles (8K miles on the truck that is)

Did that work with the PowerBoost as well? I guess SoftStartHome just can’t cut it!

This is extremely helpful, thank you! Sounds like the most straight forward answer is that I won’t be able to run the AC using the powerboost- which is fine since everything else in the house runs great on the truck

I was really hopeful that SoftStartHome would at least allow it to kick on once. I’ll have to keep looking for other options or just get some portable units for emergency use

Are there any options to run my home air conditioner on the 7.2kw generator? I bought a SoftStartHome today and it almost gets the AC started before the breaker trips on the truck. I started looking at a Hard Start Kit (basically a large capacitor) for the AC unit as well but I’m not sure it’ll...
