I agree, which is why I haven't do it. As to it being a truck thing. It is with the powerboost. Regenerative braking means you use the mechanical brakes a lot less. I have to assume the brake pads and rotors will last forever on these trucks if you use that system efficiently enough :)

I find that even without ceramic coating my rims stay far cleaner far longer than my wife's explorer. If you don't mind me asking, do you have the sport rims? I haven't ceramic coated mine because I'm worried it will mess with the matte/satin finish(which I like)
