Haven’t been on FDRS for a while so I may hit you up once I start the updates to find out how to perform a network check, DTC check and clear, and a retest.
I am a FDRS novice like most but am very intrigued and excited about the hands on techie stuff
So this is the list of updates I need on my truck which I am going to take care of in the next couple of days.
Can someone please let me know which top four are most important that should be updated first, and in which order to do them?

may truck is at the dealer getting some updates and the SYNC screen went out after they updated the APIM and TCU software.
after a call into Ford engineering, they did some resets and updates and are having trouble communicating with the TCU.
Ford is suppose to get back to them...

I had a new gateway module installed on May 26th.
I then ran the module repair successfully through FDRS
When I tried to update the APIM software it kept giving me. “USB error” on SYNC screen
battery voltage was above 12.5 and tried reinstalling several times

I did indeed format the drives to eXfat with a GUID Partition Map instead of Master Boot record
will the corrected format only solve the “USB not supported” issue, or will that also resolve the “USB Error…” after system starts updating?
My truck is a 8/21 truck. Same. Had no updates until it got stuck at 1.7.1my current Software Version is: 20312_Product Recision: 243. What ideas that translate to (x.x.x)?
So each time you downloaded the software from FDRS and copied to same thumb drive?
once you inserted into the usb slot in the truck it updated the system without the “USB Error…”?
how many updates did you install using this thumb drive successfully?
What year is your truck and which type of UCDS adapter are you using?
