My truck has been built but is still "in production" (chip hold) Is there any way to tell with my VIN how much longer it will be before the chips come in? I am told the ETA on my truck is the first week of November. If anyone believes that, I encourage them to buy up all the oceanfront property...

I don't think it really matters. I was a Priority 2 two months after ordering, but still didn't reieve a VIN for 7 mnths after THAT....

I just checked Friday. My KR is supposed to be here between last Monday, and tomorrow Sunday.... Riiiiiiiiight.....! (AND it's still on chip hold ANYWAY!)

You're faring better than me. Ordered 10.12.22, went into production 9/12, currently on chip hold. Dealer says truck is built but still "in production"....

I checked with my dealer a couple days ago. He told me my truck has been built, but it still "in production". Chip Hold. It shows an ETA to him for next week, but we both know better than to get our hopes up....

I would think not. It's beyond the control of the both of you. It's not his fault if the truck cannot be built to your specifications, it's not your fault that You wouldn't wouldn't want the truck that you ordered.

Is that under the "View Modules" tab? If so, it doesn't tell me how many there are. There are a lot listed... A LOT......

Where do you find this information? Such as how many chips are there vs how many required?

I just joined the Chip Hold Club today. Blend date was 9/12. Checked with Ford Chat today and was told "in production with a microchip hold".... Was still given an ETA of 10/10-10/16. (We'll see about THAT...)

Can anyone recommend a good aftermarket cover that one could install to prevent this?

I have a blend date of 9/12. Eleven months to the day that I ordered. I'm not sure if the bland date is the actual day they begin, or if it's when the body/chassis come together, which I have heard. But I have heard different definitions of the term.

Are those the letters by Tufskinz? I think they do offer them in red and I am considering those, but not sure if it would look right on Rapid Red. I am thinking I might go with the black ones shown.

That is gorgeous, and I am glad, because my KR is gonna be a near twin, but no two tone for me. I LOVE that color. Mine is scheduled to be built at the end of next week. Of course, who knows how long it will take to arrive... (Congrats!)
