Sorry, when I say no audio I mean when I play a video on the screen. I have Netflix going and I can see the screen but cannot hear anything. I have an hdmi adapter plugged in to my phone.

Ok. Returned wiring to stock and it worked as normal. Reattached the naviks harness and the initial error went away. I didn’t have the main plug connected all the way in. Now I get my normal Sirius functions etc. But when I switch to naviks I get video with no audio. Does that not travel with...

So now I have a mess of wires in my lap. I can see the screen of my phone but getting no audio. I also have lost Sirius satellite radio. It shows a hardware problem on the Sirius screen. Gah, should have left it alone. ?‍♂️

How was the install? I watched the video but it looked like they had pre-loosened some of the clips etc. I'm always leery of taking apart the dash on a brand new (and very expensive) vehicle, but I've been doing custom stereo installs etc. since I was a kid. I just always worry about scratching...

So with a hard-wire from an iPhone, you should be able to stream any video source from that phone? If I have Netflix, Hulu and Prime, I can basically stream any of them straight to the display? That's pretty sexy, and imho, something that should be there from the factory, even with a park gear...

I think you hit on it with the boost/torque piece. I believe the V8 can lug and pull highway speeds easier than the TTV6. I think it spins up boost and cranks up the fuel to make the power to run 80 against the wind.

Yep, I agree. As long as you're content with a highway speed of 65mph or so, you can get probably 18. If you want to go 70-80, you're going to pay for it.
