Long time lurker, 1st time poster. I searched many different ways, but don't see a real answer.
Is there any positive or negative to adding a 1" spacer/puck on top of Eibach pro-truck coilover stage 2r (e86-35-035-92-22)?
In therory Im thinking I can lower the spring perch to reduce pre-load and still get 2" of lift.

Are you topping out or bottoming out the shock?

Depending on how high the coilovers are adjusted, you may reach the travel limits of the CV joints and just rip them out if you bot them out. Saw this more than once in the Toyota Tacoma forum. Not a pretty picture.

The thought would be to adjust the coil over lower, say it ships with 2” lift, to lower it to 1” (taking some preload off it and more soft. Then put a .5”puck on top (giving 1” lift). Trying to make sure they are on the softer side and if I wanted to get more lift, I could dial it up since I’ve read it may not give a full 2” since power boost is heavier.

Only looking for 2” total lift.

Bad idea in my opinion... putting your cv's in extreme angles isn't going to end well expect a boot or axle to fail prematurely

Adjusting the Coilover height shouldn’t cause a stiffer ride. You’re just adjusting the length.
