Finally decided I would try the letters for my tailgate. Truck is XLT iconic silver and though I really like it it is a tad plain. I have been going back and forth in my head on whether I like the letters or not. I finally got some matte black ones from Amazon and stuck them on today. I had my eyes on some tuffskinz ones but didn't want to drop 80$ in case I ended up not liking them. I think I am pretty pleased with them...I will see and if I change my mind I am only out $24.
Also put a new slip on steering wheel cover . I had re-used the one from my old 2012 truck that had been on for a few years and it was getting kind of slick feeling. This one feels really nice...kind of a suede feel. It does make the wheel fatter but not much different than the old cover and I like a thicker wheel.

Did the manual fold tow mirror to power-fold regular mirror swap today, wash and McKee's Graphene ceramic coating for winter.

Looks good! Are you planning on holding onto your tow mirrors? I’ve been looking for some

Yeah, keeping them, I tow my camper in the summer a lot but like the smaller mirrors in winter for snow plowing.

Replaced the BMS sensor with an updated version per @Porpoise Hork thread in the Battery page. I haven’t had an OTA in over a year and maybe this will help keep the battery charged at a higher level. It’s a cheap part and a simple install. Just be careful removing the connector for the sensor wires.

I posted a much longer thread in the Interior Mods forum with quite a few pics, but I received my set of @3Wliners floor mats today. They are awesome! I put them straight in out of the box and know fit will only get better as they flatten out. They are already night and day better than the weathertech's I had in my old truck.

Wrapped-up the last detail of my column shifter conversion with final mounting of an Apple MagSafe charger in the new cubby:

Ford F-150 What did you do TO your F-150 today? πŸ™‹πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ MAGSAFE 02

I'd drilled the hole, installed rubber grommets, and hidden-routed the MagSafe cable from the cubby to the USB-C charging port in my main console while the everything was apart doing the conversion, but it took a bit of thinking to figure out how to mount the MagSafe 'pad' at the correct angle in the cubby for the phone

The simple solution was a small hinge from HD, stuck to the cubby and the charger pad with VHB tape (y)

Sliding the phone up to remove it, rather than pulling forward off the strong magnet, eliminates stress on the VHB tape ;)

I'm really, I mean really happy with the column shifter conversion outcome! 😁
