  1. Introducing Bluepilot! A Ford specific fork for Comma3X / OpenPilot

That said, my comma device is for sale. DM me if you’re interested. I have the Q4 harness and the comma 3x hardware. The windshield bracket wasn’t able to be removed from the 150 but you can easily print out the ones that have been in this thread if you need.

It’s with a sad heart I am not going to be lurking here anymore….I decided to trade in my ‘23 150 for a super duty. My 10klbs trailer was causing too many white knuckling drives for me. I can pull 26k with my new platinum 250. The funny part is you think you’d have the same, or better features...

Kudos again to all we’ve been working on this the past year and a half!!! I just finally bumped to 3.1 and I have to say I hate the new way. The path shows when you’re not engaged. Whoever at comma decided to get rid of the pathway being very narrow when the system is not engaged to always...
  4. Introducing Bluepilot! A Ford specific fork for Comma3X / OpenPilot

Thanks, I’ll give that a shot. In about six months, I’m going to go live full-time out of my RV pulling it every so often with my truck as I move from location location across the country. Hopefully I get more comfortable or I just learn to not drive when it’s windy out lol I don’t want to...

It really is. But that also why it explains why I liked very different profiles up until now. look at my in lane adjustment as well. I believe you told somebody they should never go above -4. I’m at -8 and sometimes I contemplate going to -9 or 10.

Last thing here, if anybody’s looking for settings that are a little more tight that will start to break preemptively on turns a bit better as well, try what I have below. They may look a little far, but I was able to reduce all ping-pong in curves while still having tight control.
  7. Introducing Bluepilot! A Ford specific fork for Comma3X / OpenPilot

Kind of a side topic here… Mine is trying to take blue Cruise 1.4 update but doesn’t even have an option to retry to install after a few failed attempts. My question is will this fix my IMPA to the latest firmware or do I still need FRDS to do that? If so, is there a way to force the update now...
  8. Introducing Bluepilot! A Ford specific fork for Comma3X / OpenPilot

For those interested in trailer pulling, I have a 6900lb empty, close to 10500lb loaded 32’ travel trailer with around 1k tongue weight on a 2023 503a 5.0L coyote with tow package, although I have the 3.73 locking diff and the max tow hitch so I basically have max tow without having max tow. I...

Like always, I appreciate the hard work you’ve done. This shit amazes me every time I drive. Before I upgrade the 2.1, I’m curious, am I going to lose the stringent turning that staging – electro has? So far, that has been the best steering logic, by far for me. Prior to staging – electro, I...
  10. Introducing Bluepilot! A Ford specific fork for Comma3X / OpenPilot

What are the different staging that are available? I see one called electro. Just for shits and giggles, I switched to it and it seems to not bounce in curves like it does for me on staging. This actually is more aggressive with turns as well, and he keeps the truck in the right spot…?‍♂️ The...
  11. Introducing Bluepilot! A Ford specific fork for Comma3X / OpenPilot

First, I want to say the new blue pilot 2.0 is absolutely fucking amazing. I’m back to using Notre Dame and the ability to adjust the center of lane is killer. It also seems to handle aggressive turns a hell of a lot better than it has in a long time. That said, I am noticing a pretty...
  12. Introducing Bluepilot! A Ford specific fork for Comma3X / OpenPilot

Holy shit, this update is amazing. the little driving I did, it was perfect. Nailed the curves it used to bomb on. I moved back to Notre Dame and pushed it to the left 4 clicks. Are the lane centering and all those other adjustments gone now?
  13. Introducing Bluepilot! A Ford specific fork for Comma3X / OpenPilot

I see there was an update to staging. I also happen to notice that custom offsets are functioning for me now, but I’m not sure if that’s because I’m on blue diamond and just noticed it.
  14. Introducing Bluepilot! A Ford specific fork for Comma3X / OpenPilot

Ah, that’s a bummer they ditched it, I really like the way this profile performs with lane placement. It’s just a bit stale compared to some of the newer ones. I’ll stick to this one until you roll that out though. I highly suggest people try Blue Diamond V2 and set it to lanefull only then...
  15. Introducing Bluepilot! A Ford specific fork for Comma3X / OpenPilot

I am going to do that soon, thank you. I wasn’t aware of the program to borrow the cable, that’s a big help that said, are you guys sure you cant use the way that blue diamond v2 seems to keep the truck and incorporate that into the newer profiles or make a new one? here’s a picture, you can...
