Piggy backing onto what JEB said, if you go the laptop route, and only plan to use FORScan with your truck, the best adapter is the OBDLink EX FORScan OBD Adapter.

@Jesse-Infotainment Is there a way to force a build data push to Ford? Is it possible that a bad value somewhere could prevent the module from either sending data to Ford or Ford rejecting it and not update the module's values on their side?
I've had this persistent DTC on the DSM, despite...
Just to be clear, I believe there are three different steps to this module repair. In the first step, you shouldn't be using the ethernet adapter, just the straight USB cable connection. After that completes, in step 2 you'll be prompted to change over to the ethernet adapter.
Looking farther up in your log, when you tried to run the APIM update via USB this morning, you were warned about poor battery voltage. Are you on a charger? What voltage is FDRS reporting?
Battery issues have been a major problem for several with these updates.
Also, if I remember correctly, there were 2 or 3 different things installed during the driver install. Make sure you didn't accidentally click on the FDRS window and you have another driver install waiting and hidden behind FDRS.
Just to confirm, you don't have a USB drive plugged in to the truck, correct?

Update with USB cable (computer to truck harness)...
After installing the drivers, are you on the Web Link tab when you see the cursor spinning?
If so, click back over to the Module Update Repair tab and click 'Continue' in the lower right. That will probably flip you back to the Toolbox tab and remove the Web Link tab. If it does, then go back...
2021 (Job 1) PowerBoost, built 3/20/21, on chip hold until July '21, when I took delivery.
I took a look at everything last night for the first time. The driveshaft looks fine, and the insulation hasn't begun to sag. I have not had the recall work done yet, but I wasn't expecting to see...
Yours looks like mine did when stuck on 1.7.1. No GWM or TCU update available, and the APIM is the same version when I was stuck, DSMU5T-14G670-CA.
You'll likely need to start with TSB 22-2117, which can be found here...
@Ajzride had the same issue I think.

I believe he got around it by changing computers or uninstalling and re-installed FDRS...
I believe @Jesse-Infotainment is referring to the IPC. Your current software value is not correct.
