08-10 super duties (6.4 power stoke) were a compound setup... Smaller turbo feeding a larger turbo... With a good tune it was capable of close to 600whp with no other mods... My brother had one and would peg out the 40psi boost gauge
Not apples to apples.. I ordered F350 6.7 lariat ultimate on April 23rd... Suppose to be delivered to my dealer next week... Less than 2 months from order date
I've towed with both(3.5 and 7.3). the Ecoboost tows better... unless you need a heavier truck... 6.7 diesel trumps both
Standard 3.5 eco.. can be equipped with a 36 gallon tank
Not apples to apples... But I ordered a 25' F350 super duty, lariat ultimate, diesel..on Wednesday.. got a notice yesterday that it already has a vin and scheduled to be built end of May...
Ive got the dealer working on a deal to trade for a 24' F350 diesel.. lariat ultimate sport pkg.. MSRP of $91,325... Asking $77,700 for it... Waiting to hear back on what my 21' lariat with 62k miles on it is worth to see if we can make a deal
I run 295/60/20s... I have them set at 35psi in front and 30psi rear... No complaints on ride quality.. 2" level spacer on factory suspension..over 60k miles on these current tires
To say the 5.0 is more reliable is nothing but opinion.. not factual.. I personally know of 3 people that have had new 5.0 engines installed.. anywhere from 60k to 130k miles.. 1 2014'.. 1 2018'.. 1 2019...
Also personally have a good friend that just turned 335k on his 2011 3.5 Ecoboost.. did...
Production Agriculture (Farmer) 5000 acres of Corn soybeans and sugar beets.. 3500 head of pigs...small trucking company on the side...4th generation farm
How about a pump gas tune only 3.5 without the hybrid issues??? 11s in the quarter when you want it and a tow monster when you need it??
Granted...I am gonna take a close look at the power boost when the wife needs a new truck..
I miss the torque of turbocharging Everytime I drive my f350...
I Have gotten under 5 mpg towing 4 sleds to the mountains(from MN to Montana).. Yes it was windy, I was just glad to have an Ecoboost in that situation.. the other half tons were not able to keep up... I was still able to hold 80 MPH..
