No, it uses the bed light switch.

These will work with a 24. They have a different connector but it is covered in the instructions.

These are the lights I installed. They give you wire to run from the back of the truck to the front that you then de-pin a connector and add there's in. It woks when ever your cargo lights up. That is the circut you are tieing into.

Ford does offer a bed light accessory kit that is kind of plug and play. The instructions are horrible but it works when you open a door or turn on the bed lights.

That is what I was afraid of. Way to go Ford screwing up your own app.

If I have my cable plugged into the truck and I remote start it with the worthless app, will the generator turn on regardless since I can't turn it on through the app.

In tow mode you don't get any electric mode. I only use tow mode when I need the engine braking or going over mountain passes.

The new version sucks. Way less features especially for PB and monitoring generator stats.

That looks like the right plug.

The cable is not available separately. It comes with the camera if you buy it new.
