Is 'Changing your Avatar' real??

Hey guys...I changed mine and the Mach E tracker just changed to "In Productions" . The rest still show Order Accepted but I will take the win.

Why the heck not. Called the dealer today to see if they had any info but just got back the est date on the tracker which is a month away (it shipped two weeks ago)… time to try anything.

I have been on this forum since my order in Feb. Since late April my trackers have shown nothing but 'in production'. I have seen before that people have said to change your avatar on here and your status will change. Now I know how crazy that sounds... But on July 25th I said screw it and just changed my avatar for the hell of it. The next day my ETA changed. (Actually pushed back three weeks) but then the day after (Today) the primary status finally changed from 'in production' to 'awaiting shipment' ... Coincidence? Or something else??

I can tell ya it absolutely worked for me, two days after i changed mine my truck went into production.

I agree, I’ve never believed in coincidences. But I have an unrelated question, is there a way to track the build date? I’m scheduled for 10/11 but want to keep an eye on it in the event it changes. Go Dawgs! Looks like a great year for college football especially in the SEC.

Of course it's not real. It was started by us folks in the 4/26 build week thread....really to pass the time and have a little fun while we waited for our trucks. We were a chatty bunch as referenced by our 230+ page thread. It ended up to be a coincidence that the statuses started changing after that. I'm not a superstitious person, but after waiting 7 months, I would have bought a voo doo doll if I thought it would help.
