My dealer was not yet aware of the change and initially seems to be having trouble changing my order to remove the auto start/stop feature. Any idea what your dealer did in order to update your Dora order sheet so that I can pass along to my dealer?
I’ll ask, he didn’t really give me much info just said he was aware then texted me 20 minutes later say it was done. When I originally texted him I specifically asked him to add option 52X but I’ve heard others having trouble finding that.

With mine removed. I expect a VIN this week, build next week, and delivery the week following.

OK, thanks. I did mention the 52X code to my dealer but that didn't seem to work initially. I've asked them to keep checking since others like yourself have gotten it removed.

If the window for ordering 21’s is closed and we don’t have VINs yet is it safe to assume that the orders already in the queue will be built?
I would guess that is means the window for ordering 21's is closed and we don't have VINs, only. Ford is trying to figure it out. You can be absolutely certain that no matter what they decided to do, it will annoy twice as many people as it helps.

I just received a phone call from my dealership asking if I would like to remove the auto stop-start feature to receive a $50 credit towards final price and speed up the delivery of my truck. Feature removed. I was told that if I wanted to leave the feature it would add 1-2 months to the wait time, but by removing it I should expect a VIN/Build info by late August. While on the phone I asked a couple more questions - '21 orders are now closed as Ford's new #1 priority is to get these 2021s to their lots/new owners so that they can get on with the '22s. Hope this helps.

Awesome thanks for filling those blanks. For myself I think I'll be living with the 1-2 months wait, but its great to have an understanding of what I'm committing to vs. the alternative.

Not necessarily. I've seen it happen with the '99 SuperDuty. All the '99 orders didn't get filled and all those that didn't were giving priority on 2000s

My buddy was talking to his rep the other day about '21 orders when I was asking him about the Tremor retail order hold ups. He said they were trying to get all the July orders in and scheduled along with the rest of the orders waiting to get scheduled. It sounded like 8/01 was the last day for '21 F150 orders, but he didn't say for sure.

Got an email yesterday that the 250 Tremor I ordered prior to the release of the 150 Tremor has been built and will ship to my dealer between August 14-20. Still no VIN in the 150…Damn!

Hello from GrangerChip. Just yesterday, we were notified of the auto stop/start delete option on the Ford order site. I have deleted four so far and it's a simple change to make on Ford's WBDO system. Our dealership did not receive any specific information on how timing would be impacted other than it would "help expedite" orders. If your truck already has a VIN number established, I can't make the change. If not, just email me at [email protected], and I can check into it. It is a $50 savings.

Hey Granger Chip,

Do we know if this delete option is only available to US F-150's? I've got an order in from Canada on a Tremor and wondering if this is an option for me as well.
I recommend checking with the dealer you ordered it from. I won't be able to see if it's an option to delete on your specific order.

They would have to reorder it as a '22 if they go to balance out before you got a Vin#. '22 production isn't going to start up (tentatively) until 12/06 at DTP (later at KCAP BUT Tremor is DTP only). So there is still LOTS of time left to build '21s. The big push is going to be to get customer orders out first. Order banks for '21 will be closing very soon. There will be some changes for '22, but nothing major. Maybe just some colors added or taken away.
I would not be surprised if velocity blue is dropped, while adding atlas blue. That occurred with the 2022 super duty.

What can you tell us about Retail Tremor scheduling, Chip?


I would not be surprised if velocity blue is dropped, while adding atlas blue. That occurred with the 2022 super duty.
Wouldn't hurt my feeling the slightest bit. Don't care for Velocity Blue. It's almost the same as Blue Flame was and I didn't care for that either. Antimatter Blue, Blue Jeans and Performance Blue is where it's at. I was hoping to see PB offered on non Raptor F150s but sadly it never was
