Welcome!

You need to contact Ford Performance via Chat with that information to get the current production status or read Antimatter Tremors signature and follow those instructions.

They can keep mine, was gonna disable it anyway. Don’t know if I should contact my dealer about it though. Everything he’s learned about the Tremor line he seems to have heard from me. Doesn’t seem to be on top of this line of trucks.

I was just built yesterday. With an ETA OF 45 days(9/17). Wish I was given the choice. I don’t care for the feature either. Maybe I would have gotten my truck sooner. ??‍♂
Your Tremor has been built already??

As it turns out the auto start/stop does reset to on every time you turn on the truck. With a little OBD plug or a wire harness installed behind the auto start/stop button, you can have that button remember your last setting when starting up the vehicle. Both routes are incredibly easy and doesn't mess with permanent programming.

I'm leaning towards retaining this feature myself. As much as I hate driving into DC, it does happen and traffic can get pretty stop and go in my area pretty badly. My opinion would probably change if there were quantifiable scheduling benefits for deleting auto start/stop or quantifiable delays for retaining it, unfortunately that information is not available.

I'm curious to see how many people are going to delete the auto stop/start? My truck is too old for that new fangaldee tech so I have no experience. Would I miss it if I ordered it without start/stop?
I called this morning to take it off mine. My dealer had no idea about this until
I told him but he said he was able to find the info on it. Although he didn’t see the 52x option available yet to remove it and said he would check with his rep this afternoon. In my opinion, I could care less about it. I don’t live in a big city, and I highway drive to work. If I stop, it’s at a red Light or stop sign for a minute or less. Sometimes the truck turning on and off for such quick stops is more of a annoyance to me. I guess all just depends on where you drive. Would be interested for you Granger people to find out from Chip maybe more of a quantifiable delay on keeping or removing this option.

Certainly worth a email. I'll send him the question and see if he can find out. I'm sure the forum hotline is ringing off the hook already.

I am going to ask about this. I don't have an idea if it's a good/bad move to remove it.

My dealer tried to put our Tremor 402A order in today and the Ford rep said that they have been put on hold...
Sheesh.

Curious to see how everyone will weigh in on this option to remove auto start/stop in order to build customer ordered trucks sooner. Do you think choosing to retain the auto start/stop function will significantly delay builds even further now that those that choose to remove it will be prioritized first?

I'm keeping it in my orders

Considering how relatively unpopular auto start stop is, I'd say not so much.
I use mine all the time

If you've never had it , you won't miss it. Only took me a few weeks to get use to it on my '18

Sheesh.
Orders for '21s may already be closed

It might be because they had a short ordering window for 2021.
Possibly

Meaning I will have to wait until the 22 orders open up? Dang
Maybe

Contacted my dealer this morning, he was already aware of the order change for Auto Stop Start and is getting it added. I guess 1 point for the chip shortage helping me out a bit lol
My dealer was not yet aware of the change and initially seems to be having trouble changing my order to remove the auto start/stop feature. Any idea what your dealer did in order to update your Dora order sheet so that I can pass along to my dealer?

If the window for ordering 21’s is closed and we don’t have VINs yet is it safe to assume that the orders already in the queue will be built?

I am going to go ahead and delete that feature from my order. I realized I have 2 stop signs and one small town stop light every day on the way to work. It doesn't make sense to not delete it at this point.
