Make the remote roll up and down the windows as well as fold the mirrors when locked.
The windows thing is funny. It used to be available on F150s but then not. But then my Wife's 2024 Bronco Sport has it. ???

If equipped, I think the folding mirrors has a switch in the Sych 4. Mine fold any time it is locked, whether at the door, or the remote.

I’ll look for that once I get it back from the shop.

There was an aftermarket supplier that sold a plug n play module that fitted my 2019 Ranger, very handy. Supplier is out of business now. You could even crack the windows when locked.

That kind of dignity has been out of my reach for a very long time. 🤣
I gotta get in/out of the bed a lot. It ain't graceful, but that step has extended my independence.
My f150 the pull out step was hmmm
Perfect height for my gait
The 250..hmmmm I need a step stool to reach it.
But still its one of the most used features in the bed
The bumper notches are good, but I worry my aged self will slip a foot out and do the fish plop on the ground

And back a few years ago
The sunroof would close on its own after an hour or so
If truck was off
Not sure how it got deleted

They need to hire some real software engineers and reconfigure their entire update process. The convoluted way they send out updates is ridiculous. You should be able to go in, check for an update, and install, same way you can on your iPhone or computer.
HEAR HEAR! Exactly right!

Can’t do just one.
change the rotary switches for lights and drive mode to actual switches with stops. All the way counterclockwise to stop is position A, clockwise to first detent is B, next detent is C, stop is D. You don’t have the distraction of looking at the screen to see what’s been selected as with the current system, you know by the switch position you felt with your hand.

make the adaptive cruise work predictably. Mine finds false speed limits, no sign needed, interprets route number signs as speed limits and brakes aggressively. Or be able to turn that function off and keep the following distance function functional.

offer some options as stand alone items instead of only available in packages that may contain items I don’t want. I would have liked to option just leather seats in my Lariat but wasn’t interested in paying for the 5,000 dollar package that included things of little value to me.

ditch the rain sensing wipers. They were erratic on my ‘23 Kona and act the same on my ‘25 F150. Slow to react when rain starts, slow to turn off when it stops, slow and inappropriate to changes in rain fall rate. My ‘25 Kona doesn’t have them and not missed one iota.

as said before some old technology cannot be improved upon.

I went with the max tow package, bought 6/16/2015, 10K on the truck, 8K towing, 5/32s tread depth left on the rear tires And one flat from a bitty Little Rock chip. 4 payments and getting close to needing tires. A more durable tire fitment on a vehicle specifically optioned for hard work would be appreciated.
I am able to turn this feature off on my 2024 KR!

Fix the Damn heater boxes door. The crap plastic breaks inside and the ac or heat is inoperable. I have 2 trucks 2013 raptor and 21 power boost both have the same problem. Stop making crap trucks to save pennies. Go back to the old ordering books for new vehicles so we can chose options we want instead of packages that you don’t explain what each item is for. Ford used to be great example of how to order a truck. Now it is all about packages.also fix the freezing up of AC lines on 21 power boost so the AC works all the time. There is a service bulletin out on this issue

1. When someone moves from one seat to another, one have to stop and open the driver's door to get the seatbelt dinger to stop.

Drop off one kid at the first school, kid # 2 moves over, then we start driving, and ding-ding-ding every day.

2. When Android Auto loses connection, one cannot reconnect without stopping the vehicle. Which is really irritating when on a highway road trip. The button grays out and when on a red light it can be pushed, but ONLY if it fully connects before light goes green and you start going, otherwise it abandons reconnecting, even though you were just waiting for the system to do its thing.

Absolutely no reason to refuse to connect IF one already came to a stop to push the button. Red lights just aren't long enough for it to fully connect before it goes green again.

3. Ability to adjust middle seat seat back. It's too steep of an angle.

Otherwise it's mostly good.

i'm late to this thread. a lot of great insight for sure!

I think a big one would be the 4A transfer case should be standard.

360 cams should be standard. these are big vehicles. any extra help maneuvering them won't hurt.

having side cameras show on screen when using turn signals would be awesome. should improve safety.

better color palette. hate how car companies go with the 50 shades of grey palette. (white, silver, grey, black) also, yes F150's have blues and reds...but more browns and greens

Better HVAC performance. damn dash vents at full blast suck!

Shouldn't have to use FDRS to update the truck. If a module has an update, Ford Pass should notify me and either ask me permission to start the update or just do the update once the truck is parked.

Glare-Free lighting standard!

heres a want i'd love. back lit exterior door handles.

Would love any rear (sliding) window or sunroof that doesn't rattle.

This would be great. You can check for software updates but if it fails it gives you generic reason for why it failed. The truck knows why it failed I don't understand why this info can't be passed along so the owners can take the appropriate corrective actions.

My BC 1.4 update failed the second go around so it'll probably be another 6 months before it tries again. Some of the reasons for the failure were doors being open and such. None of the reasons it gave were applicable to my truck. I even attempted to throw on a charger a few times to see if it would pass, even though I shouldn't have to considering Ford sent me updates saying they improved my software update experience and battery charging.

When my AA acts up I reset the head unit by holding power and the FF button on the radio controls. You shouldn't have to do this but this may be a half assed solution to your problem.

Several above have mentioned taking controls off the display and back to manual knobs.

My request:
Put the dimmer switch back on the floorboard where it belongs.
There can still be an automatic function (i.e.- click on auto then to on then off etc.)

The problem is there is no standard between manufacturers. Some have wiper functions on one side and some the other.

We are constantly left searching for controls in the dark. Controls that seem to change annually these days.

For those of you who don't know.......... before the foreign makes got fancy with a bunch of wiper and lighting functions on the steering wheel bars/extensions ........ all (100%) of all vehicles had dimmer switches on the floorboard in the upper left floor of the drivers seating area. Simple to tap with your foot and you never had to search for controls. It was the same for every manufacturer and model.
Duckduke, I hear that the NTSA is pondering passing regulations that do put the dimmer switch back on the floorboards of all vehicles made in the US. They’ve received too many reports of Aggies getting their foot caught in the steering wheel.
