There is. In FDRS, click the IPMA and scroll down to where it shows all the module details. You want to look for the name of the file in the F188 locations. If it does not end in BBC, then you do not have BC 1.4. When you did the FDRS updates, did you have to update the IPMA (it would have taken almost 3 hours)?
No, there were no IPMA updates. I will get the file name in a sec.

On a side note - 3 hours? I don't know if my Noco 5A will be enough to keep it up that long once it becomes available.

Then you don't have BC 1.4. Also, for the IPMA, you will need a 20amp power supply like the Clore PL2320.

Holy balls, how do they expect this to work OTA? People don't usually keep their cars on battery chargers over night...

The process to update the IPMA over OTA is different than when you do it with FDRS. It does not take as long.

I will replace my power supply then in preparation... but since I'm doing this anyway, would that 20A be enough for my wife's mache?

Oh no. The EV's have a tiny 12v battery. You need 40amp or bigger for those, so might as well get the bigger one which will work for both. Many people on the Mach E and Lightning forums have used this one with success:

https://www.amazon.com/PM4-55Amp-Po...8-1-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGY&th=1

You will just need a set of jumper cable to cut the ends off and adapt it to the power supply so you can connect it to the battery.

And that one will work with the AGM battery in 150?

It will more than work. It's much more capable than what is required for the long updates on the ICE vehicles.

Gotcha, and 55A is enough for the EVs? There's also a 100A versions.

100A is overkill, but you can get 100a if you want to. No such thing as too much when it comes to a power supply. It will just put out as much as it needs to in order to maintain the voltage.

We've gotten hundreds of people through this on this forum. I'm just outside the Gables if you need me, but you'll be fine.

I have to say I was a bit concerned yesterday during TCU/BCM programming when the whole thing lit up like a Christmas tree... but I'd take a bit of adrenaline over having to deal with OTA

As expected, it doesn't have BBC. My F188 value is: RC5T-14H102-ABG

I checked my wife's IPMA (BC 1.5) and it's TJ8T-14H102-ABG... same suffix as mine.

Yea, but it's not the same ABG. Notice on the Mach E it starts with a T which is a 2026 part number. The both firmwares may end with ABG, but they are very VERY different.
