Received notice today from CarFax. 2025 F150 3.5 EcoBoost
Same. Nothing in Ford Pass App. Contacted Ford Chat, gave them my vin, it falls under the recall.

I'd like the get to OTA update, my truck sits fairly far away from my wifi AP's, wish there was a manual update option.

Just received this in FordPass. I would prefer to have the OTA update or even perhaps mobile service take care of this versus going to the dealer.

Same here!
How would one go about getting an OTA update? I am very new to this, just got the truck.
And how do you set up mobile service? Call the dealer and ask?

As long as you have your SYNC 4 set up to receive OTA updates, it will happen automatically for you as they send them out.

As for the mobile service I assume you can call the dealership and request it If they offer it. My only experience with it was for a recall on my former ‘22. They showed up unannounced to my home and offered to perform the service.

Still haven't gotten one. Odd. I'd think they would be serious when it came to something involving the brakes.

I read somewhere the OTA update will come sometime this month. I agree though, brakes are kind of a big deal. 😊

Yeah, no kidding!
Hopefully we get the OTA update. Need to look into connecting the truck to my network in the meantime.

Would be great if OTA. If not, guess I'll have it done when I have it in for my other recall, 2 in a week, on my 25 Platinum. Other is Axle. Geez. Received mine today for the brakes.

My dealer is sending someone to my house to take care of this. That’s nice, I’ve never had that level of service before.

It's a bit perplexing that I find out about it on CarFax (and here), it has to do with the brakes (somewhat important), but FMCO hasn't notified me via FordPass, e-mail, or snail mail. Who needs brakes anyway.

Maybe they are doing it in order of build/purchase date, so as to not flood the dealership. My local Ford Dealer is horrible, their service department is the worst, I have to drive 70mi or we take Ford's to the local Lincoln service department (not owned by the same people.)

Check your notification section within FordPass. I had the notifications in the app, but the app never alerted me of the notification arrival.

Check FordPass as someone else also mentioned. I received my notification a day or two ago.
