I got BC 1.4 on my 2023 Platinum yesterday. Didn't have to place the battery on a charger.

There's a major push of 1.4 going out right now. Lightnings have been reporting it left and right the past few days. We should see it here, too.

That will come with APIM update, but the features like lane change assist should still work.

I came here to say the same thing. I have the feature but the options are nowhere to be found in settings

Had the option for the 1.4 update and said “update now” but that button has seemed to disappear? Anyone have any solutions?

It can be added with FORScan or you wait for the OTA that gives it to you.

Does it say "not complete" or "waiting to install"?

That means the OTA failed and that OTA trigger is no longer active. You have to be wait for it to be resent.

Hello, this is my first post here. I read this thread starting on December 24. I am shopping for a 21 Platinum 701 with the 2.0 prep. When I go to the dealer to look at the truck, how can I tell which version of BC it is running? What is the likelihood I could get them to put the latest update on there if I buy the truck?

The only 100% for sure way to know is with the VIN. Assuming the updates needed for it to work are missing, even if the dealer installs them, you will need to turn the features on yourself with FORScan.
