Ok guys, I have fully updated the first post. I have put more information in there, including color changing part numbers. I have also added the 2024+ truck information.

Just finished my cupholders and footwell lights on my truck. Big shout out to JHForman812 for some help and patience getting an attention to details issue resolved quickly. The guy who supplied the harness was quick on shipping and the harnesses look and performed like OE. Couldn’t be more pleased with this mod and the results. If your on the fence get off it, this is a quick, easy and cheap upgrade and he will totally support you along the way.

Hi I’m new to the forum. I was thinking about buying ML3Z-1513562-CB full cup holder assembly. Is the install plug & play. Will the new cupholder come with the necessary wiring hardware?

Traded my 2021 for a 2024 but had to keep the interior lights. Big thanks to @JHForman812 for the help (again) getting this done. The wiring changed a little from the 21 to 24 but the result is the same. Harness makes this pretty simple.

Ford finally fixed this and now you can change colors if you make the forscan change and swap the lights out.

Is it easy to change colors? How is it done?

you have to replace all the lights with color changing ones and make a forscan change.

I ordered the harness from @JHForman812 and he already shipped it, thank you.

Ordered the cupholder and I must have new old stock as the parts department picture showed it with the harness. I have the glovebox light and ordered the media bin light. I will order the footwell lights this week.

Thanks for coming up with a plug and play solution for my 2024.

I have to give a huge shout out to John for this great upgrade. Got my harnesses and once he helped to figure out what goes where, I got everything installed and working. I added the color changing footwell lights and cup holder lights and added the media bin and glove box light. His harnesses made it real simple in the end and I love the colors. I don't know why Ford thought this was a good cost saving measure, but in the end, it was worth it. John is the MAN on this upgrade and without his help I probably wouldn't have attempted this. Thanks John!!!

All the parts came in so I put everything minus the rear under seat lights (I elected to skip those). All went well and create a nice look.

I asked @JHForman812 for a disconnect for the wire that runs that runs from the front floor lights to the cupholder but I forgot about the wire for the glovebox light. So I installed a connector on that wire as well. All the console disconnects are in one spot and should make it easier if a technician ever had to remove the console

Hi guys..2022 Xlt PTS here...any ideas how to get the felt covering off Passenger foot well... got it to swing up.from bottom but won't disengage from. where it meets.glove box. ?

It has those christmas tree holders holding it up at the front edge. you need a forked trim tool to remove them .
