Ouch.... Mine just rolled over 46k this week.Nope, it was the original part with around 50k miles on it. To be fair the new replacement part seems to have almost no play it it, and the motor sounds different. But I’m still wanting to get rid of it for a dial shifter.
the drive mode does nothing correct?![]()
Dial came in today! Now it’s a waiting game!
Correct. I don’t believe it does anything.the drive mode does nothing correct?
I’m excited to see it. Will you post it to Thingiverse? Sounds like the revisions are going well!I should finish all the CAD files this weekend.
They sell snap on dial covers in dozens of colors on Amazon. Or there is a 3D printable cover.I'd really like to find a way to match the dial to this one I found for a Maverick. I like that black better than the chrome bezel I guess I might have to buy one and see if I can pop it off.

Are these different from the etsy? and will you post them here for viewing and comments?I should finish all the CAD files this weekend.
I’ll send you a message about doing this.If someone wants to mail me an expedition shift knob, I’ll take apart my console and plug it in and report back. Then I’ll mail it back. For the 2024 guys.
If it works I’ll talk to my sil about machined version. Might be pricey but he is burned out on making drag racing car parts…or so he says.
When I mounted mine instead of cutting the tabs I cut slots in the cubby and used those to hold it in place and the acrylic trim piece on top sandwiches it in place so it doesn’t move around.I also see no huge deal in cutting the tabs if need be. I was under the impression that the other shifter design also required cutting the tabs.
What program are you using to modify the 3D files?105mm cup.
