Ford download App. for remote start ??

I have an XL, RCSB, 4x4 on order. I heard that there is a Ford app. for remote starting.
Is this available for the XL ?

From what I've seen on Ford website, and you tube. It has a key, not a push button start.
My truck won't be delivered for a few weeks.

You can add the perimeter plus alarm that will give you remote start. It’s the upgrade alarm from Ford. At least on the 2022 it did. I have remote start and added the alarm for glass breakage part. It comes with remote start for keys according to the video.

My 2024 rcsb xl can be remotely started from my phone, for free, using the ford pass app.

The truck will have to have the ability for remote start, fob, app or phone but only if truck has that feature. If not you will need to add it some how.

I have not heard that ford removed that capability from 2025 xl's. My truck has key start as well, not pushbutton.

His truck may have it but if it doesn’t just getting the ford pass app won’t help. That’s all I am saying. It’s more than just the app involved. He should be able to look at his order window sticker see if it’s listed.

I'm looking at my window sticker now, and one thing it lists under the "functional" category near the top is "Fordpass connect 5gwi-fi hotspot telematics modem" I wonder if that might be it? It doesn't say anything about remote start functionality anywhere else. The only option this truck has is running boards.

I just downloaded the Fordpass app. When my truck gets here, I'll enter the VIN and see how it goes.

It’s part of a technology package. Not sure what it would fall under. Most likely has it but with ford and packages always changing who knows.
