Those are still in use, when doing cold weather concrete pours, or masonry.I remember job sites with kerosene fueled wicks on a small bowling bowl shape container. Circa 1959. Yes, I’m old.

Sure beats getting in a no start situation and the front of the truck not accessible to jump start. Now that I know what is happening a NOCO 5A battery tender keeps the battery at a full state of charge...I actually don't mind. I consider it at least a pre-emptive indicator that a low voltage issue is developing. It isn't the indicator I'd prefer, perhaps. But it's not going to be unnoticed.
I also have the NOCO 5A on the battery especially when temps are under 30 degrees.Sure beats getting in a no start situation and the front of the truck not accessible to jump start. Now that I know what is happening a NOCO 5A battery tender keeps the battery at a full state of charge...
Yep, since I retired from work no more daily commute, only drive short trips 3 or 4 times a week, Alaska so plenty of winter, and my battery was never getting fully charged...I also have the NOCO 5A on the battery especially when temps are under 30 degrees.
I think I need to try out the keypad. It’s on my 21 PB and I’ve never used it lolYeah, that’s one feature that I never thought Ford would drop. I’m still confused as to why they drop that.
I have but I use it mainly as I vacuum my vehicles out once a week so it’s nice to not have to get the keys when I’m already outside.I think I need to try out the keypad. It’s on my 21 PB and I’ve never used it lol
Do most ppl use it so they can lock the keys in the truck??
That is odd that the ambient lighting was not included for the front doors, my truck has it there. I do have a light for the inside of the center console storage area, but no glovebox light and no light for the cupholder area. Luckily, the interior has just enough background lighting that I can sort of see the cupholders and media bin area. I do like how we can still adjust the brightness level of the ambient lighting, or turn it off completely. My ‘22 Platinum is Job 2 and came with ambient lighting except for the front doors. I added lighting to the forward cup holders, center console storage, and glove box.
I should correct my previous comment. I have ambient lighting in the front doors storage pocket, just below the handle. What is missing is lighting of the lower door storage pockets. Maybe the 21 guys can confirm if it was available on their trim levels. That is odd that the ambient lighting was not included for the front doors, my truck has it there. It seems like each model year and trim level of truck has its own combination of interior lighting. There even seems to be differences between job 1 and 2 trucks.
Can you give me a list of part numbers. Trying to light up my cup holders, media tray and glove box. Harness numbers would be great too.(Revised) My ‘22 Platinum is Job 2 and came with ambient lighting except for the lower storage on the front doors.
