That's exactly why I think it'll end up being some third party thing, and you'll likely just pay for a "battery as a service" subscription of sorts if you want to use it. You'd never actually own the battery and would just be using the ones provided by the service. Possibly even buying a car without one and just using their batteries from the get-go. If you leave the service, you need to find a battery to replace it.So I buy a brand new Lightning with a battery you can swap anywhere. My battery is new. I go to a station where they swap them and find out the battery they put in is junk. Is it me buying another brand new battery, do I pay for the recycling of the old battery or how do you guys all for swapping batteries envision that ?
