9 F150 Super Crew PB trucks same color, same model very similar equipment have now arrived at various local dealers this week. All inventory trucks. Every dealer is now adding $7500 to 10K to MSRP. None are releasing customer ordered trucks. What a royal screwing Ford has set up for their "loyal customers"!

There is the order list at the top of the thread. I'm curious; when/how often is it updated?

It’s all done manually, it’s not a “live” list so to speak, so unless people put in a request to have their info updated, it will be stale data. Hence so many of them looking incomplete.

Thanks.

I did add a request for mine so I was just wondering when I would see it on the list. Who updates it?

It took a good 3 days I think when I first put mine in there. I think it's just the original poster who maintains it all, so it's whenever they have time.

I’m in the same boat as you. I ordered 1 day later, was built on 5/19, and am now anxiously awaiting the move to “Built” on the tracker. I had an ETA of 6/14, but the day after my blend date, when it changed the “In Production” status to show a date of 5/20 and my window sticker got updated, it moved the ETA to 6/24.
Just got an update from the dealer and my truck is showing as a "Traced Unit" with a "Trace Open Date" of May 21 in the dealer Order Fulfillment screen. They have 4 other vehicles all with the comment "Micro Chip At Plant On Hold". Hoping mine doesn't meet the same fate but with rumours of the plant shut down for the week it is not looking good.

I'm really shocked (no pun intended) that NOBODY is designing Electric Vehicles with swappable batteries.

Like your cordless drill!

With current technology they could easily make the whole process completely automated.

You pull in with your depleted battery pak, a robot swaps it for a fully charged one and you're on your way FAR FASTER than you would have filled a tank with gas.

I mean...WTF?!!
I remember seeing some early sketches/animations of that by Tesla. It would be awesome... pull up, it swaps in a fresh battery in a few moments and your off on your way. Your drained batter goes into a charging rotation and eventually onto the next guy.

For it to work on scale the batteries would need to be universal though and right now there is way too much money involved for manufactures to give up their battery.

Even if not across the board universal I would like to see manufactures at least adopt some sort of standard in their lineups so that batteries could be easily upgraded in the future.

I completely agree but don't you think it's inevitable?

Even Sony eventually made VHS tapes...
Yeah I think eventually. Also it would make the car a lot simpler as they wouldn’t necessarily need all the charging components and if you’re on a battery plan already, cheaper to upgrade since you would’t necessarily be buying the battery with the car... ala tool only kits.

off topic i know, but I guess there isn’t really anything to track right now
