Platinum Seat Uncomfortable

2023 F-150 Platinum, heated/cooled seats, no MCS. Driver's side seat feels like a hard spot where I have circled in red below. Passenger side is perfectly fine. I have tried multiple seating positions and it doesn't help.
Anyone else find the driver's side seat uncomfortable on the bottom? If so, how did you fix it? I'm 5'8" 180 lbs if it makes a difference.

Cycle the message seats to see if maybe the moving lumbar is not lowered to resting position. Also, maybe with it functioning, see if the hard spot goes away while using the them.

And the bottom of the cushion -- that's hard plastic grill thingy

Combined with at best 25mm of soft foam. I wasn't impressed w/ the platinum seats so I built the MCS raptors which have 35mm of foam.

How did you do that? Do you have a write-up or thread on this you could link? Where did you order the parts?

Sorry, I thought all Platinums have them. My 2025 F250 Platinum does.

MCS bottom pad would help out a bit by preventing the foam from pushing into the wire mesh of the cushion cradle -- nothing cheap about the MCS conversion. Driver lower pad is MU5Z96603A99A (won't work w/out full bottom and back harnesses (vary if 18 speaker), the control switch, and the rear pad as jesse layed out in this thread)

For raptor conversion you'd need the seat covers and the foam. The catch is that you have to get 2 driver bottom cushions and mirror the profile over for the seatbelt cut out because ford wants you to buy the passenger scale with the cushion and they REALLY love them so they cost more than all other parts ($2200), combined. Rear seat cushions are the same and just need the covers swapped.

If you just want to do the minimum for experimenting, you can get the driver side bottom foam ML3Z1663223E and the covers and just swap out the driver bottom.

that explains why my nuts feel a certain type of way when the ventilated seats are on.. lol

Added some images above -- the covers need to get a leather treatment product after assembling -- baking in the sun will take care of the rest as the folds from sitting in the box and stuff fill out. @ReverendQ did a raptor conversion on his XLT complete with driver cushion on passenger seat mod. Not sure which one of us enjoy them more. Mine are MCS though so I think I like them a little better

The last image suggests that the seat has something pressing upwards, front to back.

@Abraham5G go find a used raptor in your area with similar miles and sit in the seat. They're heated/cooled as well so it should be a good comp.

MSC is for pansy butts. Seriously, I am very satisfied with my seat conversion, pads, cooling and covers. The Raptor cover material provides a stability not found in other covers, see attached. Maybe Katskins compare in cover feel, butt for the price can't beat the OEM Raptor covers.

Is the passenger seat set up the same way? I feel the front passenger seat comfortable, and don't feel the hard spot like in the driver's seat.
