No, in place of 25mm of foam, it has the scale pad in it w/ 2 hard pieces of plastic on either side w/ carpet foam in the middle. It prevents the foam from compressing into the seat cradle thing effectively make it more firm/uniform.

I sat in this new XLT with cloth interior and heated seats (not cooled/ventilated like mine) and it is much more comfortable on the driver's seat. I do have an appointment with service advisor next week to diagnose the seat issue but the front desk mentioned it will likely be denied under warranty because they have to prove it was a manufacturer's defect or workmanship issue.
