I thought the dip is there if you do not have the HUD. And no dip if equipped with the HUD.
My dash is straight across. That makes sense since we have the HUD. I was wondering why some F150’s had straight across dash and some had a dip.

You can only do what you can do, until someone else makes that decision for you and T-bones you. We were very happy with our 2021 and it was paid off.

I feel ya brother, mine was a 23 Plat with 18k on it until a lady pulled directly in front of me. Will say this though, I'm glad I had all the safety features and airbags. My user id no longer applies ?

Look at that center console lid though, that's 4 nickels working hard ?

Glad you are okay and all I can say is those airbags come out quick and the side curtains don’t deflate unless you have a knife. The next day we went out to look at the truck and curtains were still inflated.

Back at ya, thx. Saw the same with the bags. Glad I was alone. I was pinned between guardrail and the ladies car. Thankfully, I had the moon roof. Was hard to breath in there with all the airbag powder.

I think that puts it into perspective. When all we have to complain about are button placement decisions, in a truck that can take a solid hit and let its occupants walk away uninjured, we have it pretty good.

Forgot to attach this one. Not sure on the tailgate button. Didn’t think of that one.

Did they delete the cargo camera on all trims? First I've heard of that delete?
Platinum and Raptor will have the bed camera. KR can get it, but you'd have to check and see if the necessary wire is still in that plug. If yes, you can swap with a 3rd brake with cam. I have a few friends with a 2024 KR that this worked for them.

Is it still the analog camera or has it been upgraded to match the rest?

Still the same since 2021. They wouldn't change it, unless they're preventing you to add it back in after the fact. They screwed over the 2024 F-150 Lariat 502A owners like that, I couldn't add it back in to mine when I had it. My '24 Raptor has it.

Now I’m second guessing myself if the dash is straight across like that now, or if it dips around the screen like the 21-24. Iv got a list of things to double check when I see him this week.
Please don't tell me that Platinum doesn't have HUD? I saw it in their order PDF that they removing the HUD for 2025 but for lower trims:
  • HUD changes and removal - ONLY in high trim level packages like KR and Platinum

Also, could you check and see if the visors have the HomeLink removed too? I want to see if this is true..
  • HomeLink removed

The OP’s truck and mine are both 701A Platinum’s, which means no HUD.

If it’s helpful to see the same trim, here’s 3 photos from my ‘24 Platinum 701A (with PAT)

Ohhhh that’s makes alot of sense, thanks for that. Those buttons change up is the dumbest thing they ever did tbh. I saw the buttons change also on the 25 Raptor too.. looks bad.

So no pro power or tailgate release? I understand that pro power button is kind of silly as it can all be done in sync but the tailgate release is something that is weird to remove.

Especially if they removed the tailgate button. That feature comes in handy more than you’d think…

I think the OPs truck is not a PB so I’m not sure if that removes it or not. Did the 2kW inverter come with a button before?
