Been running the Truxedo XPro tonneau cover and while happy with it I've been missing the benefits of having full cap so with winter coming finally pulled the trigger:
IMG_2529.jpeg

I've had varying brands on my trucks over the years and by far this is the best one yet. The latest version addressed the previous issues (freezing locks and being able to open from the inside). Plus since it isn't color matched it will be much easier to sell down the road when I upgrade the truck. Highly recommend the RSI Smartcap.
Hope you are enjoying it Ryan! :)

It said the headlights. I didn't see anything about adjusting the fogs.
Ill admit, im at work and must have missed what was being discussed.

So yeah, maybe your fogs are different since you have a 24. i also missed that as well. but if they are adjustable, should be a plastic nut on the back of the housing. kinda hard to find any pics of the Fogs online haha

@crazywayne311

I spent in total about $1300, give or take a few dollars.

I wanted the as close to factory look, on the inside any way as possible.

I got my light bar from spacewhitef150, for like $100.

I got the upfitter wiring harness from Boostedgreygoose, $725

I got the lights from Diode Dynamics $ about $250 I think.

Then I bought the Auxiliary switch console from ford for like $200.

You don't need to spend as much as I did to get this, you can buy Auxbeam 6 gang switch panel with the relay/fuse box for like $150 plus whatever lights like.

A very clean install…….well done
LOL. Thank you but that was the THIRD try and we had to bring in a professional to TIG weld it.

I will scuff and paint today. It should look almost factory and once installed, no one will ever see it due to my skid plate.

Step one of stereo up grade. Got one 10, three 12 and one 22 gauge wires routed from cab, through passenger side grommet and next to battery. All covered is weave loom.

Installed Hill Descent Control, Rock Crawl, and the lighted cup holders. Thanks to @JHForman812 for a quick clarification on the wiring. I was surprised to see how much design work went into those cup holders.

I wish Ford had used more buttons like the ones across the top of the center display. Those buttons are very nice.

I do appreciate that Ford makes doing stuff like this possible.

Installed the front Eibach coilovers. I'm experienced, but this was pretty straightforward. The trick is to cut off the bottom studs on the stock coilovers, or use an air hammer if you have one.

The instructions did not call for removing the cv axle nut, but you should absolutely do this to prevent overextending it. You can either pop out a CV or destroy the CV that way.

Without settling I am at:
Driver Front: 39"
Passenger Front 39.5"!!!
Driver Rear 39"
Passenger Rear 39"

This is with a full tank of gas, my RTT, fridge, tools etc. Not a full load in the back, but pretty close.

No idea why my passenger front is a half an inch higher. I confirmed that I have them adjusted the same. Maybe it will settle down. Or maybe the full fuel tank pushes that corner up. I'll give it until Friday and then remeasure and adjust as needed.

I'd like about an inch of rake, maybe a little less.

The Eibachs had ZERO information about height settings. They were maxed out from the factory, which made me think they were at 3" out of the box. I had to do some math to figure out what 2" was. I probably was wrong, but it was a good starting point.

I did not measure beforehand, because my winch definitely sagged the front end.

It took me about 2.5 hours.

I ran out of daylight to do the rears, but that should take me about 20-30 minutes.

You're showing a certain lack of experience.

Have you mentioned you are experienced?

Doh! Here comes that lack of experience again....

I did not measure beforehand, because my winch definitely sagged the front end.
Yeah, I can see were experience would def. help here. :inspect:

And the rears are on!

It's an easy job, but would have been 5x as easy if my truck fit in my garage. I have a lift in there. :(

To droop the axle on the driveway I just put a jack stand on the opposite side of the axle and let the jack down. That articulates the axle enough to muscle the shock in.

I found it easiest to install the bottom bolt first and then press down on the top of the shock to compress it enough to fit. This was easy. The other way was an absolute pain in the ass. I had tried compressing from the bottom and it was a nightmare.

Used the Valvomax drain during my oil change today and installed an RCI trans skid that I found on marketplace for a steal. It has an access door that will be perfect for changing my oil without dropping the skid plate.

The rear cross member needs some additional holes added for the hardware but other than that, it fits like a glove and matched up perfectly with the RCI front skid that I had already bought.

Already ran power from battery to cab for stereo upgrade. Today I installed sound deadener and door speakers. No, it is NOT professional. But, the difference and improvement is HUGE.

Also I covered the majority on the inside portion of the outer door panel in mat. So I used a lot more than you see in this photo.

Doesn't have to be professional to work, as long as you're happy with it. BTW, what'd you decide on for your stereo upgrade? I am debating on changing out some of my B&O Unleashed. Still on the fence of what to do.
