@crazywayne311
I spent in total about $1300, give or take a few dollars.
I wanted the as close to factory look, on the inside any way as possible.
I got my light bar from spacewhitef150, for like $100.
I got the upfitter wiring harness from Boostedgreygoose, $725
I got the lights from Diode...
I can't speak to the rarity of it, but the norm seems to be at least in the Baltimore DC metro area 5.5 ft box with the 4 doors.
Nice truck, wish I was able to get a 6.5 box with 4 doors!!
It is what it is!! IMO for peace of mind, would rather a chain. What bothers me the most is not the wet belt per say, but the what the cost is-will be when it either fails or you meet the service interval for it $$$$$$$$$$$$$$.
Just remember kids, Fords recommended service intervals are not in your interest of you keeping your truck for 300,000K plus.
Ford is in the selling trucks business, so follow them intervals if you want, but I for one set my own intervals. My 2006 F-150 has 190,000K on the clock and is still...
Terrible news. I got under the truck on Saturday, and it appears to be leaking worse after the stealership said it was fixed, it is now leaving spots on the ground wherever I park it.
