I wish I could order mine now but I can't get my MY24 scheduled to be built after I ordered it 275 days ago. So now I'm forced to pay the increase and wait over 9 months and counting.
I’m with you. Mine is finally scheduled (after 281 days), but I won’t have it until probably late September. Guess we’re both screwed into the higher price even tho it’s because of Ford that we can’t buy the ESP yet.

Extended warranty like everything else will only get more expensive as these trucks are rolling labortories of technology and parts aren’t as cheap. I’ve never really had extended warranty’s in the past but with this truck it was a must, and let’s face it Ford’s reliability has slipped (as have most all manufacturers)in the last couple years, so it really makes sense. I have a brand new transmission and hybrid drive unit already.

If Ford reads these threads (and they do), Ford should pick up the difference or guarantee those of us that have been waiting over six months, the old price. Ford doesn't care about us who have been loyal customers for decades.

Is there any way to pay for just the exterior lighting warranty? I already have full extended warranty that ford gave me. They’re unable to add the exterior lighting warranty and they’re directing me to dealers. Then all dealers are directing me back to ford. I can’t believe I just can’t pay for it.

I am in the same boat, I would buy an ESP on my assigned VIN today if I could, or some way to lock in todays price...

I'll be calling them today.
That is borderline criminal. They pray on people and tie you up for hours so you just give in while they rake you over the coals.

Whenever you encounter anything like this you really need to say "that was not part of the deal, do you want to sell me the truck or not". Stick to your guns and be prepared to walk. You will probably find that as you leave building one of the vultures will come running out and say "man this is your lucky day, the manager must really like you because he will do the deal without the ESP". :)

Update: received confirmation email today from Maria that my coverage is active. (Excellent customer service btw)

Next truck purchase will 100% be through Granger. Worth the flight and time for a hassle free experience compared to local TX dealerships.

So, am I correct in interpreting this from the Granger ESP brochure:

" Vehicles within the New Vehicle Limited Warranty • Eligible Ford and Lincoln vehicles that have New Vehicle Limited Warranty remaining at the time of purchase – coverage begins at the signature date and current mileage. Coverage ends at the earlier of the number of months purchased or the number of miles purchased from the expiration of the New Vehicle Limited Warranty "

My new vehicle limited warranty ends March 2026. Let's assume I will have 30k miles then. So, if I purchase a 10 year / 150k mile warranty, I'd be covered until March 2036 or 180k miles, whichever comes first? i.e. the extended warranty begins ticking once my new vehicle warranty expires, even if I purchase the extended warranty today. correct?

Also, the PremiumCare extended warranty says that the hybrid high voltage battery, and battery cabling is not covered. I guess that is reasonable.
