Thanks @rugedraw ! I can turn updates on and off so maybe there is a shred of hope? If FDRS doesn't work is there a path forward? I've read about the Magical USB and saw a YouTube on a guy using an Ethernet adapter to USB to get it to go through. I've been in various technology roles for quite a while and very comfortable with software so maybe.... ?

Yes, if auto-updates can be toggled on, you may not even have to go the adapter route. That's great news. Attached is the TSB that outlines what needs to be done should you need to take that route. Once you're ready, we can take this convo over to the FDRS thread as that thread is followed by many knowledgeable people that can offer their experience and guidance through the process.

Hey everyone. Hoping someone can help with looking up my truck's (1FTFW1ED4MFB85246) status because rugedraw checked it for me in February (thanks again!) and at that time it was continually failing with the 6.3.0 update. I haven't noticed any updates since then, but I did end up with a corroded BCM and had it replaced under warranty a couple of months ago. I was hoping after that replacement either the dealership would manually help with updates or the new BCM might make a difference, but as I said I haven't seen any indication of successful updates since then.

My warranty expires in a couple of weeks so I'm wondering if I should try to take it in again before that runs out.

If there aren't any error codes on modules dealership will not update software. That is what my dealership told me. No codes = no updates.... If I wanted my truck modules updated I would have to pay them. Ford doesn't pay their dealership for software updates unless modules are not working under warranty.

If you could check the update status of my truck. It keeps stating it has an update on long trips but still keeps showing the same update complete 22-PU1009-TLC-CSM. I would greatly appreciate it!

That APIM update continues to fail with the same error. Last time it failed was a week ago. You can try and ask the dealer to do it for you to see if they can get you over the hump. I am not sure why it keeps failing for you. They have access to see the same things I do, so maybe this is enough to get them to help. Ask to speak to the service manager and remember you catch more flies with honey than with sh*t. In other words, be nice and express concern as opposed to walking in there demanding they do it.

OTA dashboard shows no active OTA trigger in your queue at this time. What you are seeing is a "phantom" update notice and it happens a lot. You can try rebooting the APIM by holding down radio power and forward seek buttons together until the touchscreen reboots to see if it makes it go away.

Definitely worth $50 here. Keep in mind there is an issue with the BCM and non-dealer FDRS logins and you will not be able to update it.
