Katskins vs Lariat leather

I am thinking of "upgrading" my Lariat leather to Katskins leather and wondering if anyone knows how close the Katskins brown is to the Lariat Sport brown.

When it comes to upholstery color matching, a judgement of what's "close" or may be best to your eye is highly subjective.

Given the expense involved in the "upgrade", if you don't have a dealer convenient for you to take your truck and compare with their actual-sample swatches, you can choose the ten most likely candidates and get those swatches sent to you for a cost that's far less than long-term regret.

I think the Lariat leather is quite good. If you wanted to change it out to Katskins it would be to change some color. If you have the F-150 with the red in the interior (Sport before the BAP) then changing the color scheme would be adding a 3rd color to the interior and IMO that would be a bit of a mess.

I would keep on rolling with what you got and save that money. Again the Lariat leather is good already so just enjoy it. Good luck with whatever you decide!

Factory lariat is quite meh -- that piping can be a literal pain in the ass.

Had a Lariat as a loaner once and that piping was brutal if wearing anything other than jeans. My wife said we'll never own that trim level for as long as we're married. lol
