So this is interesting. The family and I were out of the country for 8 days. My 22 XLT PB was in an airport lot the entire time and was never turned on. When we got back, my turn signals are hyper flashing, I have a trailer break module error and connect nav stopped work and is now "pending activation". Bruh......

I leave my 2022 PB sitting idle for 6 to 7 days at a time on a regular basis. That has not happened to mine. I hope you find that something else happened to cause those issue.

Good luck with it.

its your 12volt battery. Need to check it, the ones from the factory are weak and die quickly Lots of threads covering the issue. .

Just get in and drive. Probably feeling neglected....

Seriously though, electric stuff can go crazy with bad or low power.

This is actually a new 12v battery from the dealer. Couldn't be more than 4 months old! Interestingly, I had expected the truck to start from deep sleep mode but it started almost like normal, just the infotainment screen took an extra second or two to turn on. Normal sounding chimes and all.

Ha! Yeah, might just be having a tantrum because it was neglected for a week. We do call the truck Megatron so it might have developed a villainous attitude!

When my truck is at the airport for extended period of time I typically remote start from my phone and let run for 5 minutes every 5-7 days. It will let you start the truck twice this way before requiring the key to cycle. Haven’t had any battery issues or warnings after starting this technique, before this method it wouldn't kick into electric on the drive home. If you wait too long before trying to start from your phone it’ll go into deep sleep mode.

After reading about ALL the problems folks are having with low batteries on this configuration I truly wonder why Ford didn't have a dual battery setup standard..The engineers HAD to know there would be a high draw if the truck sits for weeks as many do so why didn't they make dual batteries a part of the option?

Maybe a new factory battery but it’s still trash. I put in a bigger interstate battery. Went fro a H6 to a H7. All strange electrical issues went away.
Perhaps, though I don't think it really would be a battery issue considering the weird connected nav pending activation thing that happened at the same time. Always something new with this PB! I any case in taking to the mechanic on Thursday so hopefully will know more!

My '22 PB sits normally for days or week+ at a time because I work from home and sometimes it's easier to take the wife's car out for a quick trip to the store. While my battery is crap (it will drop from 80+% to 40 in a couple of days) and I lose the ability to use the handle to unlock, the worse issues I have are the stupid my view keeps resetting randomly (doesn't seem to be linked to when the battery gets low either).

I've installed a noco geniusd2 battery charger and when I think it's really going to be sitting for a while, I park in the driveway and plug it in.

What I don't get is that the hybrid battery could probably be used to help keep the 12v charged while it sits for long periods, but I guess they have kept that completely separate (thought I think the 12V is still charged by the hybrid battery when in electric only mode)

The days of leaving cars at the airport for 8 days or longer are long gone for me. I take some shuttle transportation and leave vehicles inside on a charger. I’m trying to cool it on all my miles on my 21 PB (55,000) so it’s idle in a garage on a ctek charger for weeks at a time. If I had to leave at an airport for 8 days I’d make sure to have a full charge on the 12 volt before getting there. Also your battery may be new but they rarely come fully charged I always charge on a bench before install and so-called new batteries can take up to 36 hours to fully charge on a 5A charger. I don’t have the courage to remote start maybe some day. I’ve never connected my phone to my PB or any other car it’s fully asleep then fully awake with the fob every tIme I.e. make sure you are in the software ”ground state”.

Honestly guys, I never had anything serious, like being stranded but near constant electrical gremlins of the screen rebooting, remote feature shut downs, deep sleep warnings and eventually, a, Check Charging System Soon, warning. Constantly trying to remember to leave the fob in the house, while walking past it, to avoid waking it up. Never dared do anything radical, like listening to the radio while off and was frequently putting it on a charger.

What cured it all, was something @UGADawg96 tried about resetting the BMS.

Charged the batt directly to the posts (not to the BMS) until the charger went to float. Then immediately reset the BMS and like magic, poof, all the gremlins are gone and have stayed gone, for exactly 2 months straight. Not a peep of trouble out of it.

Even dared to listen to the radio while I was cleaning it recently and no more worrying about where the fob is.

Do yourselves a favor and give it a shot. It appears that somehow, the charge the BMS thought the batt had and what it really had, were out of sync and now they're back in.

2 months later, its all good.
