I agree. They all at least attempt to be helpful, even if they truly don’t know how to look any further into something.

The most productive gal I ever talked to was named Lorraine. She knew how much I knew about the process and didn’t mind pulling up everything she could get her hands on. At the end she offered to keep an eye on it and call me if it changed, and she did just that.

Definitely owe her a bottle of whiskey for following up!

Do they ship from Dearborn to Granger via Convoy solely? Or it’s a combo convoy and rail combo?
Is there any way to track it better from another source other than Ford tracker..

Here is the shipping process from Dearborn to Granger. Convoy to Melvindale (suburb of Dearborn), then the big rail trip to Kansas City, convoy from KC to Granger.

That has to be going via rail (presumably that is what the R is, guess T is Truck), otherwise it makes no sense to drive it to Birmingham, MO on a convoy, the fastest route from Dearborn to Birmingham goes through Granger, IA

Mine will probably be following the same path as @wyoming to Granger.

Though mine is in a lot in Trenton not Melvindale. Still sitting in the parking lot to the left of the railroad trains, not sure when it will be loaded.

I currently show 31 miles on the odometer.

Just received confirmation my truck is being shipped on Canadian National Railway. Does anyone know how to input the Railcar number to track?

Mine started out on Canadian National Railways, and 3 days later it was at the junction point in Chicago and transferred to Union Pacific Railroad.

Zero...point...zero updates. Still holding at 'Last update 5/3...In Production 5/3' and the only box filled in on the window sticker remains 'Ramp = W' which has been the same since the VIN was created.

On a positive note...I took Big Red (my 2013) up to the Poconos for one last Trout run. Bagged my limit. Has been a good year. 20.8 mpg round trip over 230 miles. She's good until the turbos give her a kick in the arse going up the mountain then I lose 0.5mpg in (7) miles of hill climb. Long day today, but trout is on the grille tomorrow.

My tracker still hasn’t changed, so you could be in the same boat I am. Lots of trucks sitting on lots with just “W” on the sticker too, so I wouldn’t get too discouraged yet!

I had a 2012 eco a couple trucks ago and loved that one, too.

Just got a call from Ford Marketing that my truck has been cleared for delivery and is expected to arrive at Granger from June 23rd to June 29th! No changes on the tracker yet but I'll take the good news!

Edit: It did update in VinView though.

Congrats on getting out of hold-jail. I'd love to know what exactly the hold has been for this build week; especially blend date of 03 MAY.

They were the ones who told me yesterday my truck was off the train and sitting on the ramp in McCalla, AL. -- TWO MILES from the dealership.
