Congrats! You have the exact built timeline as mine… hopefully they are parked close together ha! Still stuck on 5/1.Good News, checked this morning. Just received update, now shows built as of 05/28.![]()
I thought of pulling out, but I have a $1K nonrefundable deposit that forces my hand to sit and wait. After spending a year mulling over unloading Big Red (my 2013 XLT) and reading order guides, et al I'm too far committed. I looked at Tundras before ordering the Lariat, but 10 Toyota dealers told me I couldn't "order" a vehicle. I had to give them my desired options, a deposit, and they would call me when something "close" came in. Basically, it was an indefinite wait list and if "ordered" they would not negotiate on price let alone go anywhere near/under invoice. I wanted a Platinum/Limited 6-1/2 ft bed, hybrid, Red or Orange and Tundra Pro Off-Road Pkg. There was only one 500 miles away. I built a unicorn but it was comparable to the Lariat I also had built.I don't know guys.. with the lack of information and seemingly no rhyme or reason as to when/if trucks are released, I'm almost to the point that if they don't offer some sort of incentive, I might pass on the truck. It's already depreciated by 6 months so...
I could just get a 2025 soon (or maybe go with another RAM since they have the Hurricane now.. the RAMCHARGER is what I would probably wait for though).
Congrats on leaving the purgatory queue! I am still sitting at Production 5/3 and Last Updated 5/3.Good News, checked this morning. Just received update, now shows built as of 05/28.![]()
I Went through the same exact thing. Between that and a $15,000 Toyota tax premium and no wiggle room I quickly ditched that idea. I can make a lot of repairs for $15,000.I looked at Tundras before ordering the Lariat, but 10 Toyota dealers told me I couldn't "order" a vehicle. I canceled my order for the Lariat after waiting for seven mStarting to feel the same way. If the truck doesn't ship out by end of next week, I will likely go another route.
On the tracking website, mine was originally indicating a window of 6/2 to 6/15...it updated a short while ago to 6/4 to 6/17.I'm watching the earliest estimated delivery date bounce forward and back on the Tracking site.
Courtesy the Customer Advocate (re: Ford Marketing) I know the truck is on the train -and- the train is somewhere between Chatanooga, TN and Bessemer, AL.
Ford Chat is intermittent in what they seem to be able to access. (Varies by agent.)
Thus, I'm waiting in another dark corner of Limbo that could get resolved today -or- by the middle of next month.
