I think I am done, not sure what I'll do next but its not finalizing the purchase of an F-150. Latest update from Ford Chat was estimated delivery window that has since passed and is now pushed out a week but not clear indications of actual progress

I just am not excited about this truck anymore. I was super excited when I ordered, when it was schedules, when it went into production but now I am questioning what the hell I am buying for $70k+... thats a lot of cash for a truck that couldn't be shipped for unknown QC holds but then might also still be shipped so Ford can hit their earnings call numbers.
I hear ya.. Ordered 11/3/23 and have been patient.. but the run around is getting to me.. Starting looking at other options.. Would be best if a date came out and they held to it... How did you know it was pushed out a week? I have no updates..

I was in the same place you are. Ordered a 24 Lariet back in December 23 and never got any updates on when it would be delivered. Found out last week it was put on a permanent quality hold with no explanation. So I canceled my order and went out today and purchased a 24 GMC Dinali with more standard equipment than the Ford at a less price point. Don't wait on Ford to respond, they have lost all their credibility, move on. Just my two cents.

Edit: Not sure if anyone cares at this point, but I went WAY down the rabbit hole tonight, and there are DOZENS of trucks in our positions (stuck "in production" with no updates), just at Granger. All w/ blends between 4/26 and 5/6. (VIN's between 76900 and 89500). Before and after that seem to been progressing just fine.

I get the impatience, I'm definitely frustrated too. Like others have said, mainly just the lack of information. Just wish someone could tell us what's going on.

Gotta be bigger than that as my vin is in the 87000 and in same situation.

Good catch. I’m not sure how they assign the last 5 digits, just noticed the trend with the select Granger trucks I plugged into the tracker tonight.

Sorry, was looking at the wrong one when I edited, even I’m in the 84000 range. Now that I look again, I think those numbers don’t relate to the blends. I’ve seen some 87000 ones on 4/26 and mine is 84000 on 4/29.

Well, just received notification from my dealer that my truck has been released from the Plant, and should be headed to the railyard soon...with an ETA here between 6/8 to 6/14. Online tracker hasn't updated yet.
Tracker officially updated last night

I was beginning to think the same thing, as my truck was also on QC hold. Who knows for certain, although I suspect most of the QC holds will be lifted soon...if the hold on my truck is any indication.

Seems like a good sign that at least a few are getting marked built from this timeframe. The waiting continues!

Ford Chat yesterday (5/21): "Your estimated arrival time is May-25-2024- May-31-2024 at this time"

Ford Chat this morning (5/22): "Your estimated time of arrival is Jun-13-2024 Jun-19-2024"

Not promising on my end
