The truck is on the latest Sync version and OTA history shows several updates over the past few months to address little things here and there. Based on the modules still pending updates, I'd guess you've gotten most of the latest sting of the 6.x.x updates. Not much to worry about in terms where it stands updates-wise.

Your truck is on the latest Sync version and OTA history shows updates came in recently. Based on the modules still pending updates, it looks like 6.5.0 is the next power up update you are due. Nothing to be worried about here.

The only OTA in your history is GWM update 24-PU0223-VI-RBS that was sent to you at the end of April. It is believed this update is to fix a n issue where vehicles on Sync 23150 like yours stopped getting updates. Hopefully you get more soon.



Your truck is on the latest Sync version and shows a few PU updates in recent history. I am a huge advocate for the Mongoose cable, but it is not needed in your case.

The IPMA/PSCM are worth the $50, IMO. They will give you much improved bc/driver assist features.

Wondering if a lookup of my VIN is doable as I'm hoping I'm not one of the unlucky ones caught in the stuck loops and that I bought used so not sure what previous owner ever did on it.

Sorry to be bearer of bad news, but your truck is on Sync 20301 which is the broken software from 2020 that caused job 1 trucks to not get updates. It will be difficult to convince the dealer your truck has a problem. This is the info I can provide you to help prove your case:

GSB 23-7147 was sent to dealers last year to help them determine what the latest Sync version is for vehicles. The pdf document says a 2021 F150 should be on Sync 23167 (that's wrong, it should be 23291, but still proves you're out of date).

The SSM is tied to an error code your truck is reporting in the GWM. The code is U2404 citing ethernet failures between the GWM and IPMA. This has nothing to do with your issue, but the reason it is relevant is if you read the last line of the SSM, it says:

Ford is developing a software update which will be delivered to the vehicle via an over-the-air (OTA) GWM update in December 2021 to prevent this DTC from setting erroneously.

So, that code was supposed to be address by an update in 2021 and you still have it showing, which to me, is a clear indicator that the update on your truck is very out of date.

To fix it, the dealer would need to apply TSB-22-2404 for APIM modules that will not update. This will likely fail (if they even try it), but as long as they can diagnose your APIM as faulty and replace it with another one, it will fix your issue.

I don't see any additional warranty on it. If that's the case, the dealer won't help.

It was a PCM update and it failed due to a corrupt manifest. You are not showing any pending updates other than an ACM which you probably did, but won't clear as is happening to me and many others. Save the $50.
