Did you end up adding the King Ranch tailgate Appliqué?

No not yet. I have to get it to my body shop to see if he will cut all the clips off and use the 3M tape that was used by the other owner who put it on his 2021. The tailgates with the panel on them have a indentation in the panel where the clips go and so it fits flat against the panel. I have had 2 body shops who didn't want to do it as all they could say is get a tailgate make for the panel. At this time and point i don't feel like getting a new tailgate or used and paint it. But i really still want to give it a try even if am out $600.

There’s a guy on YouTube that added one to his F250, shows how he broke the tabs ect to remove the plastic back piece. I’m sure it’s the same for the F150. Just got a 24 KR, looking at doing the same.

Got the appliqué prepped on the weekend. Once I get my truck back this week I’ll get it mounted.
Getting the black piece separated from the appliqué was not fun, used a hair dryer to heat the plastic, helped a bit separating the two sided tape. Then removing the remaining tape was tedious and took forever. Put a bunch of stuff on the appliqué to try and get rid of the waves in it.
